No Frills Quality Optic
This is a quality RDS without the little things that run the price up. It is the Aimpoint quality that everyone expects. This is a simple quality RDS that just works. There are better RDSs out there, but not for the price. My only complaint after zeroing and getting a little trigger time with it is ...

AimPoint review
I probably have at least one of every type of the most common red dots out there. This AimPoint is just okay. For the price I expected more. I have both more expensive and less expensive red dots and this one, base on optic quality, operation and lack of accessories (lens covers, lens cleaning clot...

Quality and crispness
Glass is clear, dot is CRISP, and I mean crisp! You can tell why you pay this much for a simple red dot. Everything about it just gives you the feeling that you can count on this optic. Only complaint is that you have to turn the brightness all the way up and then back it down a bit. Lower settings are useless but maybe not if you’re wearing night vision. Don’t know, I’m not lucky enough to have NV lol. BUT, the brightness is easy to turn quickly and it is facing you at the rear of the optic so very quick and easy adjustment. Mount is solid, although i may end ip looking for an aftermarket one to look more tacticool lol. Mounted on a Ddm4a1 with dd irons, it cowitnesses perfectly. I’d say slightly below absolute. Zeroed in 6 rounds. I don’t see the lack of covers being an issue as the glass is well recessed.
Pros:
- Rugged and reliable

No one cares
Do not call aimpoint with a problem because it is more likely I am the problem not the optic. Why
have the different settings when you can only see the dot after four clicks and from there is nothing but
starburst so I do not recommend. And I wish I could get a refund.

Aimpoint carbine optic
Excellent red dot. I’ve used it now for several weeks and I’m very happy with this red dot. Clear glass and crisp red dot. The mount that is included is excellent as well. Great quality all around. I would definitely recommend this red dot. For an Aimpoint it’s pretty affordable as well.
Pros:
- Affordable. Great quality.

BUDGET MODEL BUT SAME QUALITY AS OTHER MODLES
This is basically the POR w/o the lens covers and a mount you need a socket to install. The mount is as sturdy as most will ever need. Is is also sleeker. The PRO has a big knob that sticks out on the side and snags on things. I mounted it on a Tavar SAR that is my 24/7 "house gun". Thus, have no need for lens covers. A very good value at any price. Battery life, at just over a year, is only slight issue. But easy to get over for the price.

- Quality
Cons:
- Battery Life

Great sight
Aimpoint is one of my best manufacturers of red dot sights. I love the Aimpoint ACO because it didn't have the price tag of an EOTech and its rugged and a quality sight that a shooter can depend on. The battery life is outstanding. I once mistakenly left it on for two months while I was away working in Afghanistan and when I came back it was still on. I love the simple dot and not the target reticle that the EOTech has too. If you dropped it you don't have to worry about losing your zero much, well depending on how far of a drop it is. Just a simple and reliable sight that anyone can use for a variety of purposes. Love the price tag and the product. I would recommend.

Good for the money..
I know its not cheap for most but for Aimpoint. The dot is pretty crisp, most dots just don’t look the crisp to me anyway. I wish I would have spent a little more and bought the Pro Aimpoint for the better mount, flip caps, and longer battery life.

- Quality

Great quality optic
I bought both the eotech xps2 and the aimpoint aco and compared the two to which I like better. I chose the aimpoint because it's much lighter, doesn't take up too much room and has excellent battery life, not to mention it's completely waterproof as well. If you want something where you and jump onto a target quick I highly recommend

Typical Aimpoint quality
I put this aimpont on my 9mm Beretta cx4 carbine it works excellent. I wanted a quality budget red dot and after looking at most out there this one fit the bill. Allot of people recommend vortex, but the quality wasn't there. I'd rather buy something that isn't going to break. The only issue is it takes a while to ship. FedEx is slow.

Aimpoint red dot
Great red dot at a great price. This is a no frills optic with just the basics. A clean crisp dot as expected from Aimpoint and a solid mount. Would recommend to anyone looking for a top quality red dot at an affordable price.
