I picked up this Unit a few months back. I have several Aimpoint Micro’s, a Pro, Several ACOGS, a TR24 and an Eotech…. This easily stands out. Crisp clean Red Dot, Extremely High Quality Tube… Runs on a single AA Battery for 8 years. The only thing even close is the LED ACOG… And that just because I was Issued a Trijicon in the USMC.

Probably the best optic i own outside of my steiner scopes. Great for cqb. Ive had it on my home defense rifle for years now . Aimpoint is the standard for red dots. Its a lot pricey but buy once cry once and you won't regret it.

What more is there to say... this optic is proven and I’ll always be a fan. It’s a bit heavy compared to some other optics if your goal is weight reduction. My only complaint is that optics planet sent it without a battery cap (-1 star). Hats off to aimpoint though. They sent a replacement very quickly.

If your looking for a solid cqb red dot then look no further then this optic. It’s robust, light, and it gets the job done. The battery life is absolutely amazing, I don’t turn it off because I know the batter will last 5 years. Adjustments are easy, and the brightness of the red dot is one of the reasons I chose this over Eotech.

I have a Vortex,Leupold,and a Eotech and by far this is the best one in my opinion.Excellent product.Crisp red dot with crystal clear glass. Before I purchased, I used the one my friend had and fell in love otherwise I wouldn't have spent this much money on another red dot. Very accurate and keeps zero no matter how much I've bumped my optic.Set it and forget it. Super bright red dot. No issues on my Ar15

The Aimpoint CompM4 is the most durable and longest lasting optic on the market. I spend hours researching nothing else could hold a candle to Aimpoint.

I would recommend the LaRue Tactical mount for it.
Dot is smaller than what I thought it would be which I like.

This was my first buy with Optics Planet. I was happy with their customer service and will do business with them again. As far as Aimpoint, well hands down the best optic for the money. Period. I own 3 CompM4s and have had zero problems. I highly recommend the Larue mount for this optic.

This optic is the best optic on the market in this price range. It greatly increased my target acquisition when engaging multiple
targets. I chose to not purchase the base with my optic because I wanted to put it on a larue mount. You can not go wrong with this optic.

There is no denying this red dot is expensive, but I believe you 'usually' get what you pay for. The M4 Red Dot is one of the most well made high quality optics I have seen. I have a Leupold scope on my .270 that I bought used and it's as solid as the day it was manufactured - very well made. I also have a Nikon Monarch on my .460 revolver that takes a great deal of punishment from that round and is still a solid performer. There is no question the M4 is built as well or better, but also made to take a real beating. My Nikons and Leupold have been banged around while hunting, it happens, but the M4 would easily outlast any scope I have. When you get one of these in your hand you will see the quality. There may be less expensive red dots out there, but consider the service you get from AimPoint, if you should ever need it, and this is hard to beat. The AimPoint Pro is a nice red dot too, but the AA battery is easier to find and I don't have to buy another battery type.

I did return this 'kit', which has the Gerber Multi-tool included, not because there was anything wrong with the tool, but I really didn't need one (I have one I bought years ago) and I wanted the mounting hardware and filter. Also, throw the battery out that is included and go buy a lithium AA battery that can take the cold and the heat without leaking.

Aimpoint products are great. This does not disappoint. Optics planet had the best price and it included a free pair of multipliers!
