Great reference point

by Jeff, from HI, United States Written on February 4, 2026
Great addition to the pistol. Gives you a consistent reference point for your grip and allows you to control recoil. Fits nicely in Safariland holsters without modification. It does require tapping out with a punch in order to remove the slide. Highly recommended for guns you’ll be carrying in OWB holsters.

Reduced muzzle flip BUT.......

by Dave K, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on January 4, 2026
This rating is based on three shooters' opinions after installing the part and shooting the weapon (Glock 19). The installation was easy. Push out the original pin and put in the new part. Perfect fit and sturdy. For disassembly, you have to push out the part about a 1/4 inch, rotate it in order use the slide lock but not too bad. We took turns shooting the weapon from low ready to close contact positions, two hand grip. We all agree that you cannot press down too hard on the part, it causes the gun to dip but with the right amount of force, it helps with muzzle flip. We all reported during rapid fire, the thumb would occasionally slip off. Our double tap accuracy improved from the low ready position but a little awkward getting that thumb on the rest from the draw. One very important thing to know, it will NOT fit all holsters. Overall, YMMV. ( I will test it on my Glock 29 SF 10mm in the future)
Pros:
  • Improved control
Cons:
  • Finding a holster to fit
Best Used for:
  • YMMV

Works great

by John Iaria, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on December 20, 2025
Definitely functions great as a gas pedal by keeping the gun flat for more accurate follow up shots. Easy to install. It replaces the trigger pin and also inserts slightly into the slide release. The only downside is that you have to remove this every time in order to remove the slide. A better design option may be to somehow make it spring loaded so you don’t to remove the trigger pin every time just to remove the slide. Other than that slight inconvenience it works perfectly. It’s an easier and cheaper option than carving out a gas pedal on the frame.

Buying this again!!

by Glock Dad, Verified Owner from ME, United States Written on September 23, 2025
This was a great buy! I was very skeptical at first but for the price point couldn't help but try it. I have been shooting for over 20 years and this felt so natural in my grip. Will definitely be adding this device to several of my glocks!

Thumb rest review

by Bryan, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on August 9, 2025
I love this product. It’s been years since I’ve shot Glocks, just don’t care for the can’t of the pistol grip. My thumb resting on the item seems to almost naturally align the gun to my point of aim.

works as it should

by tomb, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on June 22, 2025
Works great and is of great quality . Have these on a Glock 21, 19, and a Palmetto State Armory Dagger. Adds a little to take down but is easy enough to get used to. Definitely helps with recoil control.

Adds needed control

by El, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on May 9, 2025
Fits on my 26 and 23 no issues whatsoever. Definitely feel a significant difference in recoil control. Not difficult to install - just remove one of the factory disassembly pins and thats it. Just insert the gas pedal where thst pin was and the other rectangle shaped pin into the takedown slider and you're all set. Just remember field stripping will now require you to remove the gas pedal attachment first before you can actuate the take down slider.
