Too Heavy, fast bolt return

Pros: it is silent, no recoil sounds from the bolt and almost no percievable recoil on my standard AR. CONS: Too heavy for a standard 223 AR. It jambs on every shot. Bolt returns way too fast

Shooting a 450 BM, you will need this!

I made the mistake of shooting my 450 BM with the stock Buffer and spring. A magnum's got nothing on this thing without the correct buffer/spring setup. It felt like an angry mule! I researched a lot, many suggested and weights. I have a BCA 450 18" barrel, side discharge. IMO this upgrade makes this firearm so much more manageable and pleasant to shoot. It kicks slightly more than a 4/10 single shot with that feeling of the cushioned aftershock. A needed upgrade to an AR in 450BM. Unlike a standard AR when you push the detent down, the buffer shoots out. This device, you need to tilt downwards to let gravity do its job.

Great affordable upgrade

I have this buffer in both of my ar's now, one 11.5" and the 16". It runs and feels great with just the heavier buffer weight.The charging handle is smooth and much quieter than ever with the felt recoil is reduced but a noticeable amount.
