Too Heavy, fast bolt return
Pros: it is silent, no recoil sounds from the bolt and almost no percievable recoil on my standard AR. CONS: Too heavy for a standard 223 AR. It jambs on every shot. Bolt returns way too fast

Very effective
Ordering was very efficient and delivery was timely. Functioned as advertised and created less noise and recoil than a standard buffer/spring configuration. Ordered two more for future builds.

Doesn't fit the Ruger SFAR
The position of the hammer in the SFAR makes this impossible to install in the SFAR 16 lower. I know it is a discontinued rifle, but if this is something you were thinking of upgrading your SFAR with, don't bother.

useless waste of money
It failed at every claim. When it DID ACTUALLY CYCLE a round without a failure, it didn’t do much better than a regular H3 buffer. As far as it being “quieter” it definitely doesn’t have the normal twang sound but its loud and annoying in another way. While shooting, walking, moving, just handling the AR it’s constantly sliding and rattling in the buffer tube, it makes noise when you just handle the gun due to it not having the normal constant pressure up against the back of the tube and the retainer pin like a normal buffer weight+spring. It’s quite a bit more stiff and you can feel the action struggling to go thru the full firing motion . Save your money get a super 42 or a spring co, or if you just really want something similar to this BUT actually proven, just spend the extra money and get the JP

H3 buffer goodness
Works great in my 11.5 Daniel Defense and 16in springfield. Will be swapping all rifles to this type of buffer.

Shooting a 450 BM, you will need this!
I made the mistake of shooting my 450 BM with the stock Buffer and spring. A magnum's got nothing on this thing without the correct buffer/spring setup. It felt like an angry mule! I researched a lot, many suggested and weights. I have a BCA 450 18" barrel, side discharge. IMO this upgrade makes this firearm so much more manageable and pleasant to shoot. It kicks slightly more than a 4/10 single shot with that feeling of the cushioned aftershock. A needed upgrade to an AR in 450BM. Unlike a standard AR when you push the detent down, the buffer shoots out. This device, you need to tilt downwards to let gravity do its job.
