Everything went together like a charm except for the take down pins. The rear take down fits seamless but the front take down pin on the head of the pin the coating is too thick and it doesn’t allow for the pin to seat completely. Nothing a little sand paper couldn’t fix. The safety selector is a little stiff at first but once you work it back and fourth about 20 times it breaks in quite nice. It’s my first 45° safety selector so I’m truly pleased with it. All in all I’d buy again. For the price and the fitment I’m pleased. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed quickly. I think it took less than 10 minutes to assemble and fix the minor discrepancies.

Bought this kit because it had a 45 degree safety. Installed it with the correct detent and spring and you cannot move the safety at all, Tried spare springs and detents just to see if that was the issue. No, it's the safety. Guessing the groves weren't machined correctly. So now I am stuck with having to spend more money to buy another safety selector after I spent more money to buy this kit. I will not be buying Armaspec again because this is the second time I've had issues with their products.

All you need with the exception of pins for Trigger assembly, I purchased a dropin without pins. All the parts are cleanly finished and fit with precision in the PSA lower that I'm building. Can't wait to take it out when completed.

The finish is nice, but the function of the pins is a different story. The Mag release button sticks out rather far, just over 1/8 inch past the guards. The trigger guard is designed to not open. There is a large chunk of metal behind the roll pin that locks it in place, I will probably grind the metal down but instead of an easy spring release to drop the guard down, it has a screw so I will still have to use tools to drop it. The truly shitty piece is the safety selector and more specifically the selector detent. The selector was so stiff it took me two hands to work the selector with the included detent. I tried oiling it but the detent was machined wrong and ended up with metal shavings in the gun. Ultimately I switched the detent out with an extra I had. It's still not smooth but at least it functions.

Not reflected in my score is OpticPlanet having these for sale but constantly pushing my order back. I originally ordered in June and every month I would get an email saying they would ship it next month. When I got the email in November saying they would ship it in December I cancelled my order and bought it at my LGS.

I've been working on a Blue/Black 223 build for a while and the Blue LPK from Armaspec was a great addition to the build.
The color matches perfect between all of the colored parts and the fit and finish was all around flawless.
I didn't need all of the additional springs and detents but it's always great having extra parts.
All around great quality product at a great price.

Because of the takedown and pivot pin fitting loose, my upper has a REALLY sloppy fit to my lower. I will not be using these pieces of garbage and now have to buy replacements to build a decent firearm.

The trigger guard is nice, the lines meet up well with my grip and doesn't have that spot that wants to bite your finger. The rest of the parts are ok, nothing too fancy.

I bought this kit and it was a great fit, the colors were spot on and the feel and funtiin were great.
