Better for me than a spotting scope
I use these out west to view wildlife and for long range glassing, paired with a set of 8x42 around my neck for handheld quick glassing. I use them solely on a tripod or propped on a bag. I am one of those people who have issues using one eye with a spotting scope and I find that I can see/detect more animals with 2 eyes and a 12x50 binocular set than with a high powered spotter. I would never go below 50 on the objective with 12x and prefer the larger objectives as they allow me to shift around with minimal change to the view.
For me, the 8x on in my chest pouch and the 12x for stopping a...

Best glass for the $$$$
Don’t look past these, they are some of the best quality and rival other brands that are twice as expensive!
Pros:
- Clear- easy adjustments- economical
Cons:
- None

Excellent Binoculars
These are great quality with excellent glass. With 12x magnification you are at the limit of what you can hold still enough to get a clear view. I have the same binoculars in 8x42 and find I use them much more often for wildlife viewing because with a wider field-of-view it is easier to acquire the animal and the 8x magnification doesn't take a perfectly steady hand. If you have a tripod or something to rest the binoculars on and are not trying to find a moving target, the 12x52 is great!
Pros:
- Excellent quality
Cons:
- Must be held steady to see clearly
Best Used for:
- Subjects that are not moving.

Great value
I got these to try them out but ultimately I returned them. The sale price was great and they came in about $150 cheaper than the vortex binos they are comparable to but I already have entry level binos so I decided to continue saving until I can afford some razor HDs or similar quality. For $400 to $500 price range they're great.
Pros:
- Price
Cons:
- Not sharp edge to edge
Best Used for:
- hunting

Good Binoculars
These are very good instruments. Their clarity, sharpness and field of view are excellent. They are compact and rugged enough to use hunting and the power is just right. These are quality optics and well worth the price.
