I've taken to using my Thor 4 as both a tracker and on a .300 blackout rifle I use for coyote and hog hunting. I didn't want to spend the money to have both a tracker and a scope, so it comes off my rifle when I'm not hunting hogs and coyotes. It's a solidly built unit and I can see why it's one of the most common thermals on the consumer market at the price point. Some of my more tacticool friends tried to steer me towards a more expensive thermal scope under another brand. My more practical friends that I hunt with on the regular basis all use ATNs for both thermal and NV purposes. It holds zero when I remount it on my rifle after using it as a tracker. The only con is that it is difficult to track something that's moving fast, and it works best during cooler weather. The first time I took it off to use as a tracker surprised me seeing that I didn't have to re-zero it. This was my introduction into thermal scopes, and boy is it a game changer.

When it comes to invasive critters this is far better than spot lighting,it works well in the day time also. Recommend this over Night vision any day

Picked up heat signatures as it should. Can not identify anything smaller than a cow beyond 250 yards. Base magnification of 1.5 on this device everything is further away than with the naked eye. My main deciding reason for buying this was to record with audio. The image quality after zooming to 3.2 to match the 1.5 base power on my other device is not worth the additional cost of a higher resolution when the resolution is the same or less by the time I zoom to match base magnification of my other device that the same base magnification.

I have been using this scope for a year now and have to say that this is the work horse. This scope will truly be a game changer for the varmint hunting and can upped the game. Battery life is amazing also. The video abilities are amazing! It can record video in HD quality, stream it via WiFi, and much more

I did a bone head move and mildly stripped two of the ring mounting screws when mounting my Thor 4. Called and spoke to Jacob Maynard and asJed it I could get a couple of screws. He responded that he’d place some screws and new rings in the mail right away. Talk about exceeding my expectations. Way to go Jacob and ATN!

I purchase this scope 6 month ago, when supplies of everything were gone because of COVID... ATN was the only company that would ship a scope within a few days. After receiving my scope only 1 week after ordering I mounted on my AR10 .308 and went for pigs. The quality of the image is incredible (I have the 640 version). I can spot pigs 600-800 yards out. I hunt in fields loaded with cattle and all kinds of deer, but with this scope I can easily identify the pigs without any doubt. I called and emailed ATN a few times and they always responded very timely. I was warned not to buy ATN because of poor customer service. But I did anyways because it was the only product available. I couldn't be happier with this product. I added an ABL1500 and now I have a thermal with integrated range-finder.... I just love it. Now I am waiting for the quick detach mount to make easier to scout for pigs, so will report on that later.

kenny acres at atn helped me with a waranty issuse and quicly resolved my issue. great company to work with. I have several atn produces including the thermal binos and the other night and day scopes, after you get the initial setup and adjustments dialed in its a rock solid platform. a little heavy but worth it in its accuracy and features gained. tyler.

Tons of options, pretty easy to use, just follow the manual, watch some youtube videos on it. Very easy to mount. I’ve recoreded several kills and am impressed with the sound and image quality. With each firmware update I become more impressed.

The piggies can't hide from me now, I can see them through brush. The battery lasts the whole night and there is still juice for more. 0 issues so far. I would highly recommend this scope to anyone wanting to get into thermal.
