Great quality barrel. Threading is butter. Loved the pinned gas block. Definitely worth the price when you factor in the included gas block. The barrel was shipped fast. (actually received 2 days early. Thanks OP!!

Read all reviews and questions. Both say barrels comes with gas blocks. Mine did not come with a gas block. It arrived in 3 days. Its arrived nicely and securely packaged. The barrel looks really good and the picking department got it right. Ive yet to do my barrel swap but, when i do, and finish my function test, ill update. Outstanding price as well. Ty Op-�

Really nice
I am impressed with this barrel for the price. It's stout and the finish is excellent. I'm a little disappointed in how it was packaged. It was wrapped in bubble wrap and thrown in the box. I would have preferred molded foam or something. It made me a little nervous at first, but it turned out to be unharmed. The box was already cut open with a box knife when i received it, but that's not optics planet's fault. I wish the box was more discreet.

Great barrel for the price
I have reviewed this same barrel before. I guess the best review I can give it is that I bought it again. Both barrels came with a pinned, low profile gas block. I don't know if Ballistic Advantage is still doing this. I recently built a pistol with an 8.3" Ballistic Advantage barrel. It didn't come with a pinned block so I contacted BA to see if I could send the barrel to them to have it done. NOPE, they don't perform that service. I consider myself very fortunate to get two of these pinned block barrels. That gas block is not going anywhere period. I have not run the first barrel through the ringer for accuracy with good ammo yet. With cheap range ammo, I'm getting 2 to 3 MOA. For a truck gun, I can live with that.

Poor quality inside...
I had high hopes after reading all the reviews and that the company advertised a sub moa guarantee. I put it on a nice aero precision upper and just couldn't get it to group. I tried several different loads ranging from 62 up to 80.5g. It looks high quality on the outside but after it failed to produce acceptable results I bore scoped it and was surprised at the low quality inside. Some of the rifling was severely rounded off, the hole drilled for gas tube had left a gnarly jagged piece metal sticking out inside the barrel as well as damaged spots. I couldn't get the groups under 3 MOA even with good quality ammo. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Can't go wrong with this barrel
I used the BA Premium Series barrel on an Aero Precision build (my first). The barrel extension to receiver fit was very tight. I was finally able to test the new rifle today and while I did not bench it for accuracy, I hit what I was aiming at from the shoulder. The rifle functioned flawlessly, indicating the pinned gas block (included) and system is spot on. Will I buy another BA barrel? Absolutely! Can't wait to get started on a .300 pistol build.

Accurate and Beautiful .223 Wylde Barrel
I have many .233 rifles but this Barrel is the most accurate barrel I own. I shoot 1/2 minute groups all day long. It also looks great with the Stainless Steel and Flutes.

It's a BA bbl so I have no doubt it's great. However the gas block is a standard .750, not .625 as it currently says.

BA Premium Barrel.
I have use the Premium barrel for a lot of builds. All build with Aero Precision upper receiver, Aero BCG or Ballistic Advantage BCG. All have given me sun MOA at 100 yard with good ammunition.
The barrel does come with a pinned gas block. The 1-8 twist barrel give me the most use of a wide range and ammunition.

Great performance!
I was looking for a great barrel at an affordable price for my MK12 Mod H clone- this is it! I've been impressed with the fit and finish of the barrel and also the performance. We will see how it continues to perform in the future, but so far so good!
