Good deal for good glass
I love burris scopes. Always decent pricing and good clarity. Put this on my ruger 556 and it works great. I have many burris optics and never had a problem, but if you do they have a lifetime warranty,...............

Bought this scope on OpticsPlanet's sale. First impression was good, not excellent. On 2.5x there is small distortion at the outer side of scope view. It's not huge but noticeable especially when move focusing on the center of view the peripheral vision reacts to some 'moves' the curve lines but then you realizes it's just curvature (distortion). On 10x it needs to adjust diopters dial due the image is not clear. So, working range is about 2.5x-7x. The biggest disappointment is of the magnification dial. Probably it was designed by an artist but not an engineer or any person who tried to use the scope. The magnification dial looks as a peace of art but is not convenient to use and finding a throw lever will take time. The reticle apparently adopted from FFP models because on SFP I don't see any reason to keep such small numbers 4s (this is my personal opinion and I might be wrong).
Would I buy such scope for full price - no.
Would I buy such scope for full price - no.
Pros:
- lifetime warranty
Cons:
- reticle
- magnification dial
- quality of image on 2.5x and 10x

Burris Fullfield IV 2.5-20x42
Scope looked nice out of the box. But going past 5-6x the parallax is bad and makes targets at a 100 yards very blurry.

First bad, Burris Scope
I mounted this scope on a Ruger X22 Carbon Lite 10/22. I sited it in at 25 yards. The scope was great. When I moved out to 50 yards, the center of the scope would start to blur at 6x magnification. By 10x, you couldn't identify the paper target. The blur was 25 to over 100 yards. I called Optics Planet, and they helped me get the scope returned to them for credit. I also ordered another scope while I had them on the phone.
I have to add that I own 6 Burris scopes, and I am a Burris fan. This scope was the first that I have ever had an issue with and a very rare occurrence.

Full field IV. 2.5-20
Have yet to use it but enjoyed mounting on a muzzleloader. Super clear to me without any noticeable darkening of degradation at full power. Reticle adjustments while boresighting seemed positive. Like all my other Burris scopes, it appears to be solid.
