Good but not great,
I bought this scope to go on a 22-250 for varmint and bench shooting on occasion. Glass is good, no problems around the edges, light transmission is ok, but not up to the level of my VX5HD 3-15x44 firedot. Leupold. But the Leopold is $600.00 higher. Great scope
Love this scope. Very clear glass. Put it on my ruger m77 in 3006. Paralex adjustment works great. The illuminated rectical is nice with its different brightness settings. A really good price for a lot of scope.

Best optic for the price
Burris continues to produce excellent rifle scopes at reasonable prices. I have several with lit reticles one of which was helpful when my son in law took his first deer. Repurchased items from the same manufacturer is a good indication of opinion. I have 3, 3-15 x 44 and 3, 2-10x40 on my best rifles. My brother prefers the price of their Fullfield and E1 scopes which have never let him down.

Excellent scope, great glass, bright illumination!
I have 3 of these scopes on different rifles. They have been all over the world from the Yukon to Africa. Great glass. Takes the punishment of my .300WM and maintains zero perfectly. Even in super bright light the illuminated reticle is visible. Warranty if ever needed if also the best you can ask for!

suprsingly good for price point
First 1 inch scope that have purchased in quite some time.
I cannot notice any lack of visual detail or light gathering, compared to my supposedly“higher-quality manufacturer” 30 millimeter, scopes.
Most importantly to me, the adjustment“clicks” are firm and distinct, with no shift of zero even when bouncing on the back of an ATV.
it is lighter and less obtrusive than a 30mm scope.
Probably not my first choice for a scope trying to shoot at 800 or 1000 yards. Inside of 500 yards it can do about anything, you could ask of it.

excellent rifle scope
I use this scope on a Browning X bolt Speed 7mm PRC. It has very clear glass and good light transmission. The parallax adjustment and illuminated reticle are nice for a scope at this price.

Burris Scopes are Under Rated!
I only own 3 and they are not top of the line but they are clear, sharp well made scopes that have never failed me. On top of that they have a lifetime no questions asked warranty. No receipt required and you don’t have to be the original purchaser. If it’s broken or not working right just send it in and they will fix it or replace it! You can’t do any better than that.

excellent optic
the unit arrived super fast and safe. Just as described. once mounted and bore sighted it was almost a breeze to dial in. the exception was the elevation adjustment. it was not clear that the unit came with the zero height locked, and the instruction for unlocking were a little vague so I ended up loosening more sets than I needed to. but that aside it is sharp and clear. the zero lock is a super feature.

- sharp, clear, very comfortable to adjust and use with either hand.
Cons:
- instructions a little hard to follow - took some time to understand all functions

- knocking the eye off a gnat at 300 yds.
