I already own a Burris FastFire II site for one of my other 5.56/.223 semi-auto rifles, and it was easy to use, mount, and of very high quality. I received a second Burris FastFire II as a gift for a recent custom AR-15 I built, but the issue was an A2 front sight and the Pictinny flat-top rail system. The mount that shipped with the red-dot worked great, but because of the high front sight, it blocked the red-dot in use. Works well.

Placed my Burris Fastfire with this riser on the front sight picatinny of my AR. .300 blk with 9 in. barrel. Pretty rugged looking but I really don’t had ability to test that like some people might. Sight acquisition was spot on for me. Only negative (minor) is it’s a little hard to get a fingernail in the hole to turn it on.

Burris fastfire mount

Would have been 5 star but made in china. Perfect co-witness with sights.protects fastfire 3 from damage would recomend.the built in tool kit comes in handy at the range but a bit difficult to get wrench out.

Burris mount

Would definitely recommend this mount for your ar platform. Comes with wrench and Allen adjustment tool located in the mount. Easily attach fast fire II or III. Comes with rubber gasket for fast fire II to ensure it is waterproof.

A fast way to convert Burris Fastfire to use on AR or similar long guns

I picked up a Fastfire 3 from a match this year, and not sure what to do with it since I shoot limited, meaning only iron sight on my pistol. Found this little gem and the Fastfire 3 is on my practice AR. This mount allowed the Fastfire to be at the perfect height on AR platform. The spare battery compartment is a nice touch.

Great sight

I own four of these and obviously I really like them. If you are looking for a great mid price optic I definitely recommend this one. It co witnesses perfectly with my mbus pro back up sights. OpticsPlanet has extremely fast shipping and great customer service.

Just what I needed to protect my fastfire 3 and bring it up to cowitness height on my AR.
Be advised. . Burris did not change part number when they redesigned this mount for the fastfire 3. The listing here at opticsplanet does not specify but it does indeed fit the 3!

Burris mount is very well made really sturdy optics planet had great service as expected will be doin more business with them. Haven't actually takin it out to the range just yet. To see how it holds up but as I mentioned before very sturdy setup so I'm not expecting to be disappointed. But will leave a review once I do.

Burris AR Tactical Flat Top Mount for FastFire II / III

Ordered this mount after buying the Fast Fire II and deciding to put it on my 9mm Carbine. I'm running an 8.5 inch barreled AR with a side folder and this optic and mount fit the bill for compact and out of the way. The riser height puts it in the perfect position to use my BUIS. Ran the gun hard over the weekend and did a few stages at the range without any issues. Great addition to my collection of optics and gives me more options depending on my needs at the time.

perfect fit, easy to install

the mount fit perfectly on my Ruger SR556 takedown rifle (comes with a pic rail on the rifle). easy to mount, and the sight mounts just as easily to the mount. sighting in was simple- i had already sighted the rifle in using its MBUS sights- raised the MBUS sights, adjusted the red dot while looking through the MBUS sight; loweres the MBUS sights, fired my first round- not only was I on paper, I only needed 2 other shots to be dead on. of course I had to go through another box of ammo, just to "make sure"- since I would need to clean it anyway, why not have some fun.

Could be better
