I bought one for my Tikka Varmint 6.5 CM last year and was amazed with the clarity at every power and the turrets extremely precise .. I was so amazed that I bought two more for my Anschutz 17hmr and CZ 22mag which is a bit overkill but if you want extreme precision, you gotta get the best !! .. I paid just under 1000$ here in Canada and worth every penny .. I highly recommend if you still see any for sale !!

This particular Bushnell scope is now considered to be old technology in the day of bulky scopes with 10 Mil turrets and Mechanical zero stops of which I have a few. I bought this scope because I needed something light weight for my PRS gas gun but still needed a good reticle and solid glass. The HDMR Reticle works great for hold overs and I have already used it to make hits out to 850. The turrets seem to track true and return to zero each time in which it did in the limited amount of time I have used it. I have already used this scope in a match and it performed well, I even made 2 hits at 1100 yards and spotted those hits on steel was not difficult at all with this scope. I could see the bullet trace from the moment I pulled the trigger on both shots. I bought this at a discounted price do to a promotion OP was running and I think for the price I paid I got a great scope. The only disappointing thing is that the Optics Planet picture shows a scope with an illuminated reticle and this scope does not have one. So to sum it simply it has really good glass, solid turrets, a great reticle, and the weight is far better than todays 34-35mm scopes. It is not a Gen II Razor but for the price it will do everything the Razor does if you know how to use it, it just doesnt have the cool features like mechanical zero stop or 10 Mil turret.

If you have any second thoughts about this scope bc of its name. Get over it. It is clear as the most expensive glass out there and when you zoom in there is no shift in the aiming point at all. The only negative is that it has 5mil tirrets that dont lock or have a zero stop. But if you can get over that itsa great scope.

Clear glass, FFP. Have only been able to hit out to 600 yards so far, ran out of room/land. I mounted it on my Remington 700, took around 5 rounds to zero at 100 yards. Great for target shooting and hunting. A little on the heavier side but still works great.

when i got a highend airgun i needed a scope for it, i have been overly happy with my trusty bushy 4200 6-24x40...but i wanted something better so i went with this one for a couple of reasons.
i do pest control at dusk and dawn and wanted some 50+mm objective and side paralax, and i wanted it to focus down to about 10m
This scope fit the bill just perfect. the illuminated crosshairs was a bonus.
i mounted it up and together with a cheap china red flashlight i set out to demolish the rat population at my friends farm, and the scope delivered...it was easy to get on paper, the turrets returns to zero almost all the time...once in a while i guess 1/50 adjustments i will be off by a click, no big deal. the low light performance was great...im happy with it.

Bought this riflescope due to the fact that Bushnell has a super reputation for quality. Mounted this scope on a Tikka T3 CTR .308. Optics performed flawlessly at all power ranges and out to the edge clarity, not matter what the distance. The scope itself is built very well and can be compared to other scopes in the $700-$1000 range. No reason to spend BIG BUCKS with quality like this. Thumbs up to Bushnell, you knocked it out of the park with this scope.

I purchased this scope in 2012 from optics planet. The first scope I received had an issue with the objective housing threads. You could not thread on the sun shade. Optics planet quickly replaced the scope with no questions asked.
On the replacement scope I noticed the parallax knob had a weird gritty feel in the upper range(500-infinity). I ignored it and the scope worked fine for years. I love the G2 reticle. I shoot out to 1100 yards regularly and I do quite well with this scope. I have friends with much more expensive glass, and I do everything they can do with this scope. The adjustments were always spot on when dialing in targets. But after a few years, the parallax adjustment finally went out (I'm guessing the gritty feel finally wore something out). The parallax had to be on inifinity to get a clear target picture at 200 yards. I sent the scope in for Bushnell repair and they fixed the parallax and reticle focus. I noticed on the repair list they also fixed the objective lens and several other things. I wasn't sure why until I noticed the scope had a dent in the objective housing now. It was not that way when I sent it in. So again, I was without a sun shade, but the scope worked perfectly. I thought it couldn't hurt, so I emailed bushnell about it and received an reply email with a phone number to call. I called and explained the situation and they sent a brand new scope, no questions asked. Never even asked for a receipt during all this.
I know I'm on my 3rd sco...

I was looking for a new scope for my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor to shoot 1000-1400 yards. I decided on the Bushnell Elite Tactical 6x24x50 with the G2 retical. I wanted to deal with Optics Planet but the list price was $999 whereas at Midway $878. So I contacted Optics Planet via an on-line chat and asked for a deal but they came down to only $950. I told her that I was disappointed and that I could get the same scope at Midway for $878. About 2 minutes later she offered $835 and I accepted. I have not been disappointed! It is clearer than my Vortex PST 4x16x50 which it replaces with more magnification and more MOA and a better side focus. Plus the G2 reticle is awesome! I've been dead on out to 700 yards with Hornady 140 grain ELD. The only thing that it does not have is a zero stop but with the 20 MOA built into the RPR and an additional 20 MOA fron a Larue mount, it bottoms out within one revolution anyway so in effect I have a zero stop.I plan to take it long whenever I can. I've noticed also that the list price at Optics Planet is now $878. I recommend the scope without reservation and the on-line chat at Optics Planet!
Pros:
- Price
- Clarity
- Side Focus
- reticle
