W.C Multi-Comp Bushing (Needed fitting "RIA M1911A1 Fs")

I was able to fit the comp onto my RIA M1911A1 Fs when sanding down the bushing lock. The comp is currently still on the pistol after 50 rounds fired (Current count), and no failure have occurred. For recommendation: Using RIA M1911A1 Fs 45.ACP Standard model; you'll need to sand-down the bushing port for the comp until assemble/ removal is smooth and easy to do. Also removal of the comp with a full size guide rode; unlock the bushing as if your completely removing the bushing and use the guide spring and plug to aid in removal as the comp makes it difficult to remove the spring individually.

Similar to the front sight, its slim design clears the charging handle without a bulging knob in the way. Its quite stiff and I'm still losing it for now, but the sight is on point of me. Currently the sight is posted on my AR pistol and hasn't shown any sight of failure or fatigue for use.

With a rather clean design the sight makes for a great option for fixed sights on a budget and more appealing on the rifle. Adjusting the sight does require a front post tool, but my primary issue was the angled pin that holds the sight in place. Because of that; front sights like Night Fision won't fit the post correctly, but Meprolight front night sights will fit on the sight.

Making sight alinement easier for target shooting with iron sights and imitating a red dot sight to acquire targets faster. It rather easy to install for my mag-pull flip-up sights; additionally the sight has two rotational points for the base and the sight alone. Do note that there are four positions point on the sights so some brand won't line up properly if the sight plug is at an angle.

On my RIA 1911, the finished is appears more blued than black is a minor inconvenience for me. Consider what grip you have when buying the slide release. My Hoge grips required sanding to fit the slide release.

Easy to install onto my government RIA 1911, however you'll need some Loctite to secure the end screw. If the mag-well is slightly lose then magazine won't freely fall; so ensure that the well is straighten and affixed to the housing.

After installing the mag well on my RIA 1911 FS Rock Standard, my grips stuck out slightly initially. With a few minor cuts to my rubber grips and minor fitting with the frame, the mag well fitted tightly. However there are a few issues with magazine compatibility, both my Novak mags, CMC railed power mags (RPM), and CMC range pro mags wouldn't fit due to base-pad interference. I've found that classic Colt mags, CMC classic mags w/ base-pad extension, Wilson combat mags, and CMC power mags will fit. I'm also assuming that pro-mags will work I currently don't have any to test.
