Vortex is the best USA scope company for customer service and warranty that there is. In this day, where value is kicked to the curb, it is difficult for customers to find fair deals. Vortex has redefined the customer service model and restored it to what it used to be. This Razor AMG Holographic Scope is just like the rest of Vortex’s scopes. This scope is simple to use and the quality is excellent. The reticle is sharp. It has a close quarters triangle, and actually, the center dot turns to a chevron depending on how you view it. I never saw anything like it. I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot it yet, but when I do I’m sure it will serve me well. Thanks Vortex!!!

You probably should fold on this hand, because this scope is not a winner. I did some research on this scope and found it good that it is a veteran owned company. I thought I could trust it. It was said the scope was manufactured in the same factories as top tier scopes. I thought that was an attractive proposition. I also thought it attractive that the mount was included and the scope was illuminated. It also had a Christmas tree etched reticle. These are all features I am familiar with in scopes. When the scope arrived I opened the box to operate it. The first issue was the diopter. It was so stiff it would not turn. I wasn’t going to take a pliers to it either. Eventually, I got the diopter ring to turn. I found I could not even focus the reticle against the background. It was generally not as sharp as it could be. I also found that the slightest movement of the scope did not agree with the 30mm objective field focus. It blurred and I could see the inside of the scope. The biggest detriment to this scope design most definitely was the illumination. First, it didn’t even include a battery. When I got a battery, it was actually difficult to install. But then a problem happened that I had never seen in my life with a scope. I clicked the wheel to illuminate the reticle and was satisfied with what I saw. However, the illumination was so bright it was deafening. Then, I just slightly moved my eye and the whole entire objective field blurred red like I was looking through a glas

I bought this trigger because it was available and Timney trigger was not. It also offered me an Optics Planet Bucks of $47, which was hard to believe. I guess that meant the trigger was damaged. It was. It arrived damaged. I did the best I could with it, because neither Optics Planet or JARD will accept it back. I had to eat away my Browning XBOLT Speed Stock like a hot beaver on a date to make that freaking JARD trigger fit in. It works and functions now, but neither Optics Planet or JARD cares if the rifle goes off unintentionally. The safety may come unhinged in the trigger housing, and even with the trigger adjusted and set properly, the sear action could go off. Someone would be blown away. Optics Planet and JARD don’t care. This is why Browning is so anal about there trigger housing sear action in all their rifles. I guess they have their reasons so someone won’t get blown away.

This Red Dot scope is unreal man. It's great with one-eye sighting or both eyes open. But with both eyes open this scope's capabilities really do shine. It opens up the entire viewing area and then places the red dot on target. And the clarity is amazing as if you are not even looking through the scope, just simply out into the scenery. Wow. It is also a true co-witness with my current iron sights. The red dot sits right on top of the post and i can also see the dot through the rear peep hole iron as well. The included sight mount is a perfect height for sighting and the iron sights won't enter the picture when down. Vortex did their homework. This thing is a winner. Then again, lately, Vortex is always a winner. Many thanks. :-)

I thought this was a good scale because of the reviews. I guess I was wrong. The thing is brand new out of the box and it won’t even calibrate or even measure the weight of the powder pan. The thing won’t measure nothing, it just says zero. Should have bought RCBS.

This has no connection to Optics Planet whatsoever. I love Optics Planet. THIS WINCHESTER AMMO IS EXPLETIVE AND IS A DISGRACE TO THEIR NAME. THE ACCURACY ON THIS AMMO IS PATHETIC. I have found that two shots will shoot in a tight group and the third shot goes inches off. This is laying prone at 50 yds, shot out of an LWRC rifle with a Timney single stage match trigger, and totally supported with front and rear bags. I was also told by a competition match shooter of about 35 years that this ammo is also EXPLETIVE. I would wish that Joe Jack would take all this ammo and trade back for his Hornady to the deserving citizens of the USA.

I really wanted to like this product. At first it seemed to work. However, when I took it out to the range and lined in up at 25 yards, the dot would go on the paper, but NEVER in the middle. I would attach the laser magnet and it held well and was perfectly in the middle of the rifle barrel. What should have been straight at 25 yards from the bore was not. Then, I would simply rotate the laser upon axis on the bore. The laser dot would then go to a completely different location on the paper, which did not make any sense. There was no possible way of using this laser to ZERO the rifle with scope. I then noticed that the laser was actually mounted OFF CENTER inside the metal housing. This laser is a neat idea. But mine was defective. I can't recommend this laser. The manufacturer should know you can't just slap a laser inside a magnetic housing like this and not engineer how it aligns because it will make a difference on the paper. 25 yards isn't that difficult to make work.
