I was told this is “Armor piercing “…is this true?

M855 has a steel insert in the bullet for increased penetration. It is considered "light armor" piercing.

These rounds shoot without any jams or misfires. My AR-15 was easy to clean after running over 100 runs through it. Very little carbon residue to deal with. I would recommend this product to anyone who enjoys shooting well made ammunition.
