The vertical adjustment would not hold itself tight. My BNVG's would slide down with every step until bottomed out in the mount. Called Wilcox directly and they were not surprised about this defect. Then they had the balls to tell me I had to pay to have it shipped to them so they could try and fix it or replace it. I then contacted Optics Planet, who sent me a free return label and free replacement of the defective mount. Its disheartening when you spend thousands of dollars to finally have night vision to have to send the mount back of all things and have a 5 thousand dollar paper weight unit the new mount shows up (hopefully clear of defects). I would like to say thank to Optics Planet for making it right.
These things are units. They exceed my expectations. The convenience of running AA or CR123 is a very reassuring feeling that you will always have something to throw in. The BRAVO tubes offer so much for the price. Good to go
The up down adjustment will not stay in a desired position when locked. My BNVG's will just slide down with each step until bottomed out in the mount. There was obviously no quality control. You can push the slide up and down with one finger when its "locked". I first called Wilcox and they did not seem surprised at all on the phone about this problem. Then told me I would have to pay to have it shipped to them to repair or replace it. I then called Optics Planet and they sent me a free return label for a replacement no questions asked. I thought Wilcox would have better QC and take better care of there customers for the amount of money they charge but I appreciate Optics Plant for making it right.
The rubber cap for the laser function fell off. I know you get what you pay for but I havent even shot it on a rifle yet. The pressure pad plug wouldnt stay in so i wraped a ranger band around it to hold tension. Now the wire is pulling out of the jacket by the plug. Just a waste of money if you ask me.
