V Seven Hyper-Light 13.5" Keymod - Great!

Great lightweight handguard. Handguard has quality all over it, machining of barrel nut and handguard is exceptional. No burrs or sharp angles just smooth all around and comfortable to hold. Plasma finish is a nice black and uniform all over. It's a pricey piece but you get what you pay for.

Faxon's low profile gas block performs as it should, no complaints. Three set screws secure it onto the barrel well and the side cut outs reduce weight. Even though it's made of steel the minimalist design which keeps weight down makes it hard to justify spending more on a titanium part. Quality piece, will definitely buy again.
Bravo Company QD End Plate

Straight forward product works as it should, BCM is a reputable company so rest assured the part will work with mil-spec lower receivers and receiver extensions. Nothing wrong with QD end plates made from aluminum (I have one) for a lightweight build or race gun but chose steel for utmost strength on my main rifle.

YHM Black Gas Tube

Carbine length gas tube that's been melonited, works as it should. Tube is straight and installed without issues, price is better than most of the competition. Adds a nice touch of visually hiding the tube under black rails.
Leapers UTG Hard Coat Recoil Buffer

Basic carbine buffer, what more can I say? Looks similar to others such as the Guntec, polymer pad seems to be a different durometer (a touch softer). Weights inside move just a touch more than the Guntec but not noticeable when in use. Buffers are pretty much all the same, might as well get the least expensive.
CMMG Fire for Effect LPK for AR15

Your expected lower parts kit minus grip and fire control group. If you know what you're doing then save money by buying this kit. Instead of CMMG's blister package where parts are labeled, color coded, and separated this kit for FFE has all the parts in one bag which lowers the cost. I can see no difference in quality from this kit compared to CMMG's own line. All parts look good and fit in both Aero and Kaiser SP lowers.

Aggressive molded texture despite not having a rubber overmold, good feel in the hand. Nominally heavier than MFT's EPG16V2 which doesn't have a bottom cap, support for storage or Magpul grip cores. Includes grip screw but bottom cap doesn't provide water resistance like BCM's grip which is both hinged and o-ring sealed.
Overall a good feeling, good looking grip at a reasonable price.

Feels good in hand, light, mounts securely with included hardware. Too much pre-applied threadlocker on screw, had to scrape excess off the threads. Easy fix and recommended for those looking at an affordable grip.

Well built and sturdy part, aids in the assembly and maintenance of your AR. A little wobbly when used as a lower receiver stand, can take some effort to secure bolt carrier to block when used as an upper tool. Recommended for the price over other overpriced assembly tools that are nothing more than a steel tube at twice the price.

Rail and nut are made from aluminum and are well made and anodized. Comes with shims and no special tool required, designed to be used with an adjustable wrench instead of something proprietary. Rail with nut weighed 8 ounces or 226.8 grams.
