Definitely well built and for the price you can't beat it. It is definitely not grey more of a grayish green but if u don't mind a slight color variation its a great mount very solid.

Definitly recommend strike industries products. I have purchased a number of things from this company and I have yet to be disappointed in any of it. This selector switch installs very easy the detent grooves are milled out very smooth so operation in turn is very smooth and a crisp.

Definitely a great purchase was on the fence about it forna while but glad I bought it the clarity is good as all vortex glass usually is. Love the first focal plane, reticle is very clear. The only issue I had with this optic was the illumination knobb would not function properly it would turn on and shut off. Come to find out the knobb was not screwed down hard enough I suggest using a wide flat head instead of the optic tool provided. But overall a great sight
