Aero missed the mark on this (NiBoron)

I couldn't figure out why my gun was misfiring. I had previously used a friend's BCG and the build was operating perfectly. Had a gunsmith check out the BCG, checked it over and he couldn't find anything wrong....except rough edges at the corners. Used friends BCG again, no misfires. This one is going back to Optics Planet. I do absolutely love Aero for most things, this was a disappointment though. Thank goodness for Optics Planets, will order a cryptic coatings NiBoron (since their coated ones are out until 2022).

Great brand, great product

Thoughtful engineering on this piece is that the bolt catch pin uses a small screw, super easy. Especially because the extended paddle I bought didn't fit so putting it off and on a few times then going with the standard paddle was no issue. Which was cool. Also changed the ejector port cover which was again engineered for ease. The small thoughtful things really stand out in this product. Using their upper and handguard is a must with a few exceptions. The upper, lower and handguard together make for a supremely smooth, tight fitting (if you want) product. I had a few misses with the tools that I thought would surely scratch but didn't.

This just feels great when you are holding. Lucky for me a friend builds all kinds of these and I had a chance to try several out. Got to just feel multiple hand guards from multiple manufacturers and this was my favorite. If you get an Aero enhanced upper, not sure you have a choice. If you got a different upper you may wish you had the Aero to start with. Not sure what builds this thing fits on however it is so nice you may wish you built on it. Real talk.

As with all of the Aero products, it is made with quality that you can feel. Pulling this charging handle it feels smooth, straight and substantial. Ambidextrous is a must for ease of use. I was a little surprised by the additional moving parts that acted almost like a safety? You can't totally see it in the picture but in each side there is a little lever that engages as you pull back. Thought it would be cumbersome but was fine. Didn't notice it after a few times.

Great stock. I really appreciated the integration of castle nut in the stock, less to go wrong with assembly and use. The customizable cheek piece and length make this a great addition to any rifle, increases comfort with shooting. Speaking of comfort I will say the butt plate is really hard, will be buying the cushion sold separately.

Solid constructions

Fits perfectly into the Aero Enhanced Upper. Great feel. The enhanced upper with barrel nut makes the barrel process a breeze. No need for modification or having to make it work. All of the Aero Precision products are fantastic.
