This is a good quality item to replace a stock cumberbund for those of us with a bit more girth. As long as you have a compatible mounting system (check before ordering) the cumberbund is easy to swap out. It also works well with the First Spear type quick releases on the market.

This sight is well made. It is compact with solid construction and mount stays tight. I like it much better then the plastic magpul sights and it costs less. You won't be disappointed if you buy this sight

Nice but not perfrect

There is noticeable play in the "switcheroo" mating. The ball bearings do not provide enough bearing surface which allows the stem to flex in the socket. Especially noticeable with a heavy spotting scope mounted.
It would also help if the locating pin was relocatable. The pin is able to be moved 90 degrees but the alternate location doesn't have the retaining screw's threads tapped. With the scope I have the locating pin only works if it is moved that 90 degrees.

Compact mount that keeps it tucked in close to forearm.
Bright light that is easy to activate with tailcap or the included tape switch.
Careful about how tight you try to get the velcro straps used to mount tape switch. I broke the plastic loop on switch but Crimson Trace quickly sent me a replacement.

Good...if it fits

Gave it 3 stars as it seemed well made but it wouldn't fit either of my PSA PA10s.
There were two issues. First the part that catches the bolt extends too far to the side and when I closed the upper to my lower it prevented the bolt catch from moving. Second issue is that the nub for the mag follower is so small that it slips off the follower to the side when engaged.
This might work with another brand of .308 AR but I didn't have any to check that with. I contacted LuthAR directly and they wanted me to pay to ship the bolt catches back to them on my dime for them to evaluate. Lousy customer service on their part, so I instead returned them to Optics Planet (excellent customer service) and bought another brand (B.A.D.) that fits and works perfectly.

As with most magnifiers the eye relief is a little tight but the glass is clear. Compact so it doesn't take up a lot of real estate on top of your rifle. Flip to side mechanism is solid with no play in either position.
