A follow up to previous review. Received a new mount kit from Truglo in the mail. Very good customer service from Truglo, with in a few days received it. The replacement threaded screw is the same as the original however, I figured out why the the first broke besides the thin screw head. When latching the QD lever a little clockwise pressure on it will help it sear properly. Found that it wasn’t quite parallel with the mount and it was pushing against the mount itself instead of going into the place it was supposed to go. Mount is now secure with no broken parts. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a light/laser without breaking the $100 mark. I have ordered numerous items from Optics Planet and they have always had very good service. Decided to contact Truglo instead of returning it since it was Truglo’s problem and not Optics Planet. So five stars for Optics Planet! I’m sure they would have exchanged it without difficulties. Keep up the good deals!

Bought this for AR pistol build. Wanted a light/laser combo that was compact. Saw this and since Truglo has some decent products decided to give this a try. It comes with manual controls for right or left hand shooters as well as a stick on touch pad. Very easy to change out too. Light is bright enough for home defense. The item that only gives this three stars is the mounting system. One side had a QD lever while the other has the screw head for adjusting the tension. Originally only had a 3 slot pic rail for it. It definitely has more stability with a 5 slot rail. When I switched those rails and put the light/laser back. Slowly tightened the QD lever and half the screw head came off. Looking at the screw head reveals very little meat where the slot is cut in the head. And since it is aluminum it was no wonder it broke. Contacted Truglo directly and they are sending out new mounting hardware. Don’t have it yet but they were very helpful. The sight still stayed put when I took it to the range. Light and laser were good. Will probably put a little blue picture on the elevation and windage adjustment screws once sight in completed. They turn very easy, are somewhat protected, but think they will move from use. Battery usage looks good so far as well.

The pouch is great. It is actually a Med kit pouch. Don’t know how Optics Planet gets their description but if you go on 511 website they are named differently. Currently using one of them for a MantisX training system. Have dedicated pistol mags and an AR mag along with the trainer all neatly stored and when I want to use it I just grab the pouch and is has everything right there , no need to remember what exact weapon I will be training with. Use another for an IFAK in my range bag and it works great there too. Actually use the red bungee cord they have on the inside and put it through the molle straps on the outside to hold a tourniquet at the ready. Highly recommend these pouches. Haven’t found a use for the longer black bungee strap that comes with it yet, but it comes with it anyway.

Have been wanting one of these for awhile. My son just finished buying the pieces for an AR build. He purchased one of these for the build and it helped tremendously. This was the first AR we built and this block made assembly much easier, especially having to torque the barrel nut and just holding the lower upright. Had to finally get one for myself since he took his with him!

Have been looking and thinking about an AR optic for a long time. Too many choices and options out on the market. Saw this optic at a big box store on a mock rifle mount. What caught my attention was how quick my eyes picked up the target and sight picture together. And this was without the sight illuminated, just the etched circle reticle. My son also looked at this and we both purchased one from Optics Planet as they had the best price and free shipping. Took it to indoor range and could only sight it in to 25 yards but the folks there helped with where it should be shooting at 25 yards for a zero at 100 yards. Once the outdoor ranges open here in central Wisconsin this spring I will definitely be checking it at 100 yards. Will most likely switch the elevation turret after that with the extra yardage turret that came with the optic. At this point don’t know how much long range shooting I will be doing with it, but it will be a nice feature to use with this optic. I wear prescription glasses and have a stigmatism and this sight is great. Had a couple guys at work look at it after I mounted it on my AR and they really liked it as well. A couple of them actually have the 3x version for coyote hunting mounted on an AR platform they think is awesome as well. Shot groups were very good for me as well as my son’s just built AR. I have an MP 15 Sport II with the A2 front sight, this is a full or absolute co-witness so you do see the front sight in your view but I don’t feel

If you are looking for a dual mag holder in leather, this is the one. Have one for single stack and love it so ordered a double stack. No wonder they can't keep them in stock. Mine was back ordered but received it within two weeks. You will not be disappointed.

Purchased these sights to replace the factory sights on my new Smith & Wesson M&P 40 2.0 handgun. Currently have the same type on my M&P 40 Shield and love them and highly recommend them. Had others shoot my handguns and they liked the sights as well. One had the XS big dot sights on their handgun, and while they are good sights, he went and replaced them with these. I will never bash other sights or handguns on these reviews as it is always personal preference. I borrowed a friend of mine's M&P sight tool and replaced them myself. New ones went on without having to file them. Just cleaned them and made sure they had a thin film of oil on them. Hardest part was getting them centered but that had nothing to do with the sights. I found I can shoot better with both eyes open with these sights than the three dot factory sights. Don't think you'll be disappointed if you put these sights on your handguns! Plus Optics Planet had the best price and actually received them a day earlier than original shipment date.

I only use factory magazines. Found these at the lowest price at the time. Functions flawlessly as expected from S&W. Actually received these a day earlier than original shipment date. Have ordered before from Optics Planet and have never been disappointed with them.

Wrote previous review on mag pouch. The leather mag pouch gets five stars! Went to the range using this pouch and had the pouch turn completely upside down during the session. Luckily the way it turned didn't cause the pouch to come off. Will run my belt through the back from now on and forget the clip. Understand the concept but turns to easy. Not what you want if needing that reload.

Agree with previous reviews. The leather is typical blackhawk quality. But the plastic belt clip leaves something to be desired. Could not get a good look at it from the picture given. Time will tell, but definitely disappointed in the belt clip. Have a two, single stack mag holder that is all leather from blackhawk for my MP shield and love it. Have ordered the same for double stack mags. Will recommend this one, but on the fence yet.
