I had mine for over 3 years now, bought them before the price hikes… the FOV is better than others 51 vs. 40 degrees and FOV is VERY important in survivability. (So is a thermal overlay)
Having both an objective & ocular focus is great for anyone that doesn’t have a 20 year old eyes.
I do use a Thermal-Overlay on my left non dominant eye.
I did mention the warranty- ATN replaced the plastic bridge, which cracked exposing the guts.
I have a COTI thermal on it & it overlays clear.
I did have to print a custom mounting ring for the COTI so I could still use the objective focus ring, otherwise the COTI-ring mounts on the objective and then you cannot adjust distance on it!
As we all know using NODS you have to get used to not seeing close up & having each tube set at different distances for each eye depending on your area of operation.
AND I do use a shutter/adj-aperture on the right tube so I can see up close to read something picked up or to pick a lock etc.
But honestly the old school eye cap worked just fine to do the same thing just with the pinhole slightly enlarged to see up close.
Anyways they are OK price point however the ATN plastic bridge is certainly a weak-spot and for that reason I would not buy a 2nd set.
And besides a decent Fusion set is now $14k and the only way to fly now!

I have a COTI thermal on it too & it overlays great!
Nothing beats thermal & analog NV together/fusion! Well except the E-COTI with COMMS & teams/ATAC in the eye piece.
I did have to print a custom mounting ring for the COTI so I could still use the objective focus ring.
As we all know using NODS you have to get used to not seeing close up and possibly having your NODS set 5-10 feet different each eye for real life situations. AND I do use 1 shutter/adj-aperture on the right tube so I can see at night. But honestly the eye cap worked just fine to do that with the pinhole slightly enlarged too.
Anyways they are decent price point and LASTLY I did mention the warranty- ATN replaced the plastic bridge, which cracked just enough to expose the inside wire. They are lightweight which matters hanging in your head, but if you’re younger who cares lol. I know, I know, ounces= pounds & pounds = pain.
The ATN plastic bridge is certainly a weak-spot and for that reason I would not buy a 2nd set considering a decent Fusion set is now $14k and the only way to fly now!
I used to be a professional trainer after my younger years as a Mil-Contractor and 39 surgeries to bolt me back together after each jaunt when I was young! After you f-up you then become a trainer, lol like we all said: “when you can no longer DO you then teach.
I bought this Binary Trigger before the FRT case was won… and available.
The Franklin trigger comes with different spring weights - even so it still has a terrible break.
If you learn the rhythm of the trigger, it works Ok, but just Ok the break is still sad. Even with the lighter spring the trigger has a terrible break, and zero crispness compared to even a Daniel Defense Mil-Spec trigger! You learn your weapon systems feel & rhythm as well as the ammo you use, this trigger is so unpredictable it is just a sad trigger. It is only good for someone to play with and would get you smoked if ever used for an engagement.
I even polished the sear, and it still has a rotten break… compared to an FRT the break & reset aren’t even close! I imagine the price of this trigger will be sub $200 very soon. When I bought it the price paid was just under $500 and after over a year of use it is still junk. Just my opinion but after 5 decades of wielding a long gun for my early career and then as an instructor this is a NO buy trigger unless your looking for a cheaper option to play around only…
Conclusion after 2 years of off & on use: I would NOT recommend it for any kind of Engagement whatsoever! It has a high probability of being unpredictable and you will pay for that unless you are just jacking around. A good Geissele trigger is much faster and certainly more dependable, predictable and precise on break, keeping the rifle on target.
Early on for fun to attempt full auto this was
