Caldwell bipod pivot lock
The pivot lock installed easily and works great. The handle makes it a lot easier to lock the pivot. Seems like it should have come with the bipod and not be an add on part. The handle is made of some kind of plastic. I would buy another if I had more bipods. Optics Planet had a great price and shipped it fast.

Caldwell bipod lock
Bought this for a Harris sbrm bipod. Nothing was clear if it had the same attachment as for the Harris. It does! Installation was a breeze and the unit works great. Locks the bipod down tight and the reset mechanism functions well. Only reason for 4 stars; made from polymer of some sort, I would've preferred aluminum

Great product for the money!
It's a nice upgrade to the Factory thumb screw. I used this on a Harris S the lever is made out of a polymer but it feels very solid. It's so much faster to lock the bipod in position than the thumb screw its also easy on the finger's. Money well spent.

Install requires not-included tools
I was expecting a simpler install for this type of item. Turns out, a 5/16” socket wrench and 2.5mm hex key wrench are required and not included. However, fit and finish of the product are good for the price. For that reason, I still gave it four stars.

A must have for any harris
The bang for your buck that you get with this makes it a no brainer if your harris bipod lacks some sort of tension adjustment arm. If you ever shoot off uneven ground, being able to quickly confirm your rifle is level before taking the shot is key. This simple and reasonably priced decides allows this to occur.

Helpful product
A friend introduced me to this product. It's a great idea because using the pivot lock handle instead of trying to move the nut with your fingers is so much easier. The only problem is. In the directions. They say to use a 5/16" socket. The nut is actually a 1/4". I drove me crazy for about 10 minutes!

Excellent Upgrade
As my experience shooting at extreme long range increased, I became aware of the importance of keeping the rifle level at all times. I put a bubble level on my rifle but was frustrated by the difficulty of adjusting the rifle tilt when on uneven ground. This gadget is the answer. It allows instant adjustment and then locks up solid. Easy to install. Lightweight. Highly recommended.
