Most Helpful Positive Review Works like a charm
Does what it is supposed to do, give you more shots. Everything fits nicely, but be careful installing the spring. t is very long. Also remember, that you need to remove the extension to remove the barrel for cleaning.

S&W Tube Extender

Glad I was able to find one
I have two old S&W 3000 pumps in 12 ga. that are hard to find parts for.
Back then, they were made in Japan. Not even sure it you can still get them but they are a great shotgun.
The tube extender only makes it better!

Choat ....8 shot magazine extention... this on is for my S&W 3000 12 ga shotgun

I have been looking at and wanting the Choat...8 round magazine extention for my S&W 3000 shotgun fror some time. I finally broke down and bought one. It arrived quickly, so I installed it on my shotgun on my day off. It loaded all 7 rounds smoothly and they all cycled smoothly. Just remember to back the magazine off two clicks before tightening the clamp down. I am very glad I finally bought one. I am going to purchase another 8 shot magazine for my Remington 870, its already in my cart.

  • greater round capacity... duh...which is why we buy them

  • none that I have found, noted or observed thus far

  • shooting stuff...tactically... of course
