This bolt catch kit is quite an upgrade for my lower. It makes locking my bolt back so much easier, and since the paddle for releasing is larger, it makes sending the bolt home easier as well. Most Helpful Negative Review Roll pin hole in bolt catch lever is too large.
The roll pin hole is too large in the bolt catch paddle. In my receiver, this forces the paddle down past the detent and spring, preventing the lever from actuating back and forth. Fits good and works great. It's not a necessary upgrade for function but it does increased surface area, which makes it easier to lock and release the bolt.
