Laser grips for Beretta 21A
I bought this Crimson Trace laser for my wife's Beretta 21A. I have 5 other Crimson Trace lasers mounted on various handguns and I much prefer Crimson Trace's laser activation design over other laser sights. These new sights fit the Beretta 21A perfectly and they work quite well.

Crimson Trace LG490 for Berretta Tom Cat
This unit is a great idea for a short barrel hide away gun. As I was trying to install the unit in my berretta which was made in 2012 I found if you tighten all the screws the grip laser would tighten around the side keeping the gun from operating. It wasn't until I took the gun to a gun smith that ...

A Vast Improvement
If you're carrying a 21A, it's because you're lightly dressed and the 21A is better than nothing. The charm of this laser is that it gives you the opportunity to illustrate to a miscreant approximately where the bullet is likely to strike. Hopefully, that will be adequate for the adversary to reconsider their plan and you won't actually have to fire.
As to size of the unit itself, it doesn't add much to the tiny little 21A. Sure, a little, but not enough to make it worth consideration. To me, at least.
I was concerned with some of the review comments that the activation switch is in the wrong location. I think that depends on the size of your hands, because I've had no problem at all with it. For reference, I'm 5'7" with average size hands. Your mileage may vary, depending on the size of your hands. You can also keep from activating it just by not pressing as firmly as you normally would with your ring finger, if you're still trying to de-escalate the situation but want to be ready.
The one thing about it that I do NOT care for is that it comes from the factory zeroed for 15 yards. Hey, if someone is 15 yards from me, I'm not about to shoot them with a .22 unless they're shooting at me. Ten feet would be more appropriate, but of course, you can adjust it to your preference. My concern is that in the heat of the moment, you might rely on the laser for sighting at an other-than-zeroed distance, and at the distances that one should use a tiny pistol, you can be off...

Crimson Trace Lasergrip For Beretta Model 21
I purchased this for my 23 year old Model 21A. Had no problems installing this grip. The new grip feels much better in my medium sized hand than the stock grip. The laser is activated only when the grip is squeezed. This is a must have upgrade for this gun.

thank you optics planet
1st laser grip I mounted on my 21 year old 21a was very hard to activate. I contacted optics planet, they replaced it with no problems, second one works perfectly. Im very happy with optics planet and this product. Only way to aim this little gun with older eyes. Makes a really neat setup.

CT Grip Great For Smaller Hands
I purchased this Crimson Trace for my wife's Beretta TomCat 32. Her's was manufactured before 2009 so the grip fits properly, supposedly they do not fit the models manufactured after 2009. If this grip was for me I would not like it as the button is in an odd position on my hand, it sits slightly off the ring finger. For her smaller hands it sits perfectly on her finger. It would be better designed if the button sat at the middle finger but it works well enough.
Pros:
- Solid feel
Cons:
- price
Best Used for:
- defense

CT LASER FOR BERETTA BOBCAT 21A resend first review!!!!!
Can not trip laser on button. By the time you find it your dead. Thought it was great until I took it to the range. It was hard for me to hit it every time. But it was almost impossible for my wife to. I am resending my first favorable review!

CT LASER FOR BERETTA BOBCAT 21A
I finally found a pistol that my wife can load and shoot easily. The problem was she could not see the Beretta's small sights. So I wanted to get her a good laser and decided on a CT. Like all Crimson Trace products, this laser was easy to install and works great on my wife pistol. Optic Planet shipped it quickly and at a great price. She now is having fun at the range.

OpticsPlanet.com is Value personified!
On a Beretta 21a, the iron sights are about as small as you are going to see on a firearm. The CrimsonTrace model LG-490 is the perfect solution to quick & sure target acquisition! OpticsPlanet added to the experience by delivering my purchase in 4 days. 15 minutes after I received it, this quality sight was installed and I was on my way to the range. At 25 feet... after 3 shots, and 3 adjustments... I was tight-grouping shot after shot... faster and faster. Quick re-acquisition skills are key to many shooting disciplines. BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Accurate Pop Gun
Even with a little Bobcat I can lay in a 2-inch grouping at 30 feet with the CT Lasergrip. The iron sights on the Bobcat are very poor in design and usability--particularly if you're farsighted or not shooting with your "readers" on. But the laser makes it a very effective pocket pistol even for us old guys! As a personal protection weapon, a .22 is better than nothing, but equipped with a CT Lasergrip it's a definite deterrent.
Pros: Set-up; Accuracy; Instant On
Cons: No Power Switch
