Most Helpful Negative Review Product great...optics planet sucks
Took three weeks to receive order...optics planet customer service didn't care, very unprofessional. Next time i will order through reputable company, maybe cost a few extra dollars, but will be worth it.

OpticsPlanet has some really good products and the prices are very competitive. But more importantly OpticsPlanet customer service are very helpful and courteous.
Pros:
  • Customer service
Cons:
  • Home defense
  • missing a couple of screws to install on a non metric gun

Get The Mrs. Equipped Properly

by Rich, from FL, United States Written on February 25, 2024
With so many home invasions being announced on local TV news you want to make sure in a "crisis situation" that your spouse is both mentally and physically prepared should a break-in take place. In an unlit house, at night, it can be difficult disarming an intruder and ,if necessary, defending yourself. Adding a Crimson Trace Green Lasergrip gives my wife an advantage to make the first shot count in a confrontation. Hopefully, it will never happen, but having CT Green Lasergrips improves your odds for survivability. Having a number of handguns with CT Lasergrips I can say they are very dependable and a great choice.
Pros:
  • Dependable, well made and easy to see on target
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • self defense and fast target acquisition

CTC LG-415 LASER GRIPS

by Djm, from RI, United States Written on October 5, 2023
Outstanding product, grip is very comfortable and allows 3 finger hold. Green laser is easy to pickup even during daylight hrs. I've had a red one for years on my S&W J frame and it's durability is unsurpassed.

vivid green

by GemGuy, from FL, United States Written on February 3, 2019
I've had red laser products, gut nothing prepared me for the green laser and It was very visible in Daylight. Took me 4 minutes to assemble and sight in.
My main reason for buying the laser grips was for that time when I needed to approximate my target ASAP without have to do so thru my front & rear sights.
Pros:
  • visible in any lighting conditions
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Quick sighting

Awesome. Green laser is easily seen in daylight. Installs in minutes. Grips are comfortable. Crimson trace products are always top of the line. Remember you get what you pay for. Had a red laser the green is 100% better.

You need a cartridge type laser to sight in

by PEPPER, from TX, United States Written on February 1, 2017
CT says the grip laser is sighted @ 50 ft. to the gun sights. The front sight on the LCR is too tall which tilts the bore downward. I found this true of both the 38 spl & 9mm. A Sightmark laser cartridge in the cylinder will project a line about 3 feet BELOW the grip laser at 15 yards (45 ft). You cannot use the gun sights. You will also find some variation from cylinder to cylinder up/down & left/right on the order of zero to 4 inches. The drill pattern is never perfect on a revolver and individual holes can vary in diameter and placement. I adjust the laser grip so variation from hole to hole is minimal. The grip ergonomics and activation are excellent.

Believe the hype

by Chepo, from NJ, United States Written on September 25, 2016
Hey whats going on ladies and gentlemen. Just purchased crimson trace green laser and ive gotta say i was a little nervous about how it would feel in the hand. I thought it would be a plasticy feel and i couldnt be more wrong. I love the hogue tamer stock grips the lcr came with and was nervous on how the crimson trace would feel. Let me tell you, feels great. Still have a good rubber comfortable feel and your able to get high on the back. Might stick out a little more then then the hogue but nothing crazy. Now on to the laser. I have a glock with a lasermax guide rod laser in red and its a dream. BUT, that green laser IS that much of a difference. You're able to pick up on it almost immediately. And you're able to adjust it to your liking. The product is a bit pricey but you pay for what you get and you are definitely getting a high quality build, nothing flimsy like the garbage you would see on a s&w bodyguard 38. There is also a switch on then bottom of the handle if u so choose to want it off. The master switch allows you to do so. Nothing says Constuctive authority like a laser letting you know where your rounds are intended to go. You still need proper mechanics while firing. So dont think jus because you have a laser its going to make you into Rambo. Great product. Peace and love. #protectour2ndamendment
Pros:
  • great quality
  • easy to assemble
  • Highly visibe day and night
Cons:
  • price
  • No pulse option
Best Used for:
  • Emergency preparedness

Crimson Trace Green

by Big H, from FL, United States Written on April 8, 2016
Fit and finish was very good. Installation was easy and quick. Accuracy appears to be spot on right out of the box.I am well pleased with the visibility, in daylight it is much better than the red ones that I have seen. I believe it will do what I need, faster target acquisition and a clearer sight picture.
Delivery was fast, and the product was well packed and included good instructions.

CT Green for Ruger LCR, Jan., 2016

by Chris M, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on February 6, 2016
First, this is another top notch product from Crimson Trace. I bought this after buying their new green laser grip for the S & W J-frame, which is 5 stars. This is only 4 stars because this grip does not incorporate their "ShockStop" design and material. And the grip is just a little too much longer than the previous LCR grip, IMO. But you can't beat the green laser for visibility.

excellent grip

by Pepper, from TX, United States Written on October 28, 2015
bought 2 for Ruger LCR 38 spl & LCR 9mm.FORGET RED LASERS THEY ARE OBSOLETE.
The butt of this grip will stick out a little from a pocket holster, but t-shirts are common in south texas.

Wish Crimson Trace would apply the new design LG 350G used on the J-Frame to the Ruger LCR. They're past the release date again. Beware if your waiting for one Crimson Trace kept the same part number for the redesign.
