Awesome Barrel
Took this out for the first time to zero my optic. Was using M118LR ammo and after I zeroed and tried for a group I was seeing one ragged hole. Small sample size right now, but I have a feeling this barrel shoots far better than I am capable of.

Not impressed so far
I bought the 18" Criterion barrel for my AR-10, to replace the Ballistic Advantage 20" heavy barrel I had originally used for the build. The BA barrel would occasionally print ~1-MOA, five shot groups, even managing .8 MOA on a couple of occasions, but it was more common to shoot 1.25-1.5 MOA, even ...

Great barrel. Great fit and finish. I got it shooting 3/4 moa with crappy ammo. It's got some weight to it. But holds it's zero through lots of rounds

16 inch 7.62 Barrel
Best, most accurate barrel you can get without paying some ridiculous amount for little again. A little on the heavy side, but that’s not really a surprise given the quality.

Great barrel.
Bought this barrel to complete my ar 10 build. And I am truly impressed. More budget friendly than other barrels. But don't let that fool you. This thing eats. So far I have 40 rounds through it, the first 10 rounds were mainly dialing my gas system in. Plinking steel at 300 yards with holosun 510 and juliet 3x micro magnifyer. Couldn't wait to shoot my new build but I'm sure this barrel will be extremely acurate when my new scope arrives.
Pros:
- Great barrel
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Long range or hunting

Amazingly accurate and easy to clean
Criterion makes excellent barrels, and this one is no exception. There is almost no copper fouling and I am getting 0.5 MOA groups. They are the only barrel maker I know of that hand laps their barrels AND nitrides them. Absolutely happy with this purchase!

Nothing better for the money
This barrel is 1/2 moa accurate. Out the 18 inch touching longer range is a dream. I am hooked on Criterion. If you talk to the folks there, they are laser focused on making the best barrels on the market. I didnt realize they made them for others too. They're in such demand and so good, I am picking up another to have just because. Well prices go up and I like to shoot. Buy with confidence. Cannot say enough good things about them. People dont know what I'm shooting but they look at my gun and my stacking holes and wonder... enjoy!

Criterion AR-10 Nitride 20" Barrel
Received my Critrion 20" AR-10 barrel (nitride) after an approx 1 year wait. Criterion reputation is excellent, so I was willing to wait for this barrel. I have not completed my build so at this time I cannot yet confirm the accuracy of the barrel. The quality of the barrel is excellent.
Pros:
- Quality & Reviews
Cons:
- Wait time
Best Used for:
- Long range shooting

AR10 Barrel
Very nice looking barrel. showed up promptly. Only complaint was I would have liked a 20" but they were months out.

great barrel
I finally got this after it being backordered for months. Just got the gun together and this will out shoot most people. 1 large ragged out hole is all that was present on the target. It came in a sealed bag in a box . Shipped with oil on the barrel and in the bag to prevent any moisture from collecting. Fit and finish was also great as to be expected from such a name. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another from criterion.

Very accurate .308 barrel!
Purchased an 18" .308 barrel for an AR10 build. The barrel itself is very nice, black nitride is flawless with a polished interior. Viewing through a borescope, the lands are all very distinct and machined well. Was easy to put an adjustable gas block on it as there is a mounting indent on the top of the barrel. Shooting wise, I was able to generate sub-MOA groups with the barrel using 168 grain factory match ammo. Higher grain ammo (e.g. 175/178) did not shoot as tightly (>MOA) for me. Plinking ammo (e.g. Winchester M80, Fiocchi 150gr, etc.) all shot around 1.25-2 MOA. I'm sure better shooters and/or hand loaders could get it tighter. Great barrel for the price!
Pros:
- well machined
- Sub-MOA capable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- PRS or Plinking
