A solid and great BCG
You can't go wrong with this. You don't need the cool stuff. This is solid as can be. If you want the fancy stuff then sure pay more and search for it. It has no difference in terms of longevity or rifle performance.

OVERPRICED GRITTY METAL Finish
I’ve used several high end BCG in the past 25 years, and this experience was the first..I’m guessing this is the same bcg in the DDV11 pro rifles. After running 4-5k rounds, dragging this rifle threw competition courses..military and civilian since this rifle came out, noticed the BCG started to sh...

Daniel defense bcgl carrier group
I absolutely love it!! My 5.56 runs amazing and this bolt carrier group is unbelievable. If you run suppressed like I do, the carbon just wipes right off and the coating makes it very easy to clean. It is also full auto rated so you don’t have to worry about it getting to hot, it just runs like a champ
Pros:
- Easy to clean
- carbon doesnt stick while running supressed
- smooths
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes

As advertised ready to take a pounding
This was well worth the hype. I took my time to upgrade my S&W AR with quality components and selected this BCG. No regrets and handling the pounding.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- None for me
Would recommend: Yes
Made my DD rifle's accuracy tighten up.
I had bought a DD upper and DD lower but used a griffen armament pocket bcg. Checked head space. I was getting 4-5 moa of accuracy. Swapped to a DD bcg. Checked head space, and got 1 moa.
Pros:
- It works.
Cons:
- Price.
Best Used for:
- DD rifle in my case.
Would recommend: Yes
Good to have
Got this bolt just in case the one in my DD4V7 ever needs to be replaced fully.

Trouble with faxon bolt
My fax and both lasted probably 700 rounds before it refused to lock. Disassembled and cleaned it and it didn't resolve the issue. It was time to upgrade to a Daniel defense BCG. So far it's been flawless and I know it will go long past the 700 rounds the Faxon bolt died at.
Pros:
- Higher quality
Cons:
- None
- None especially at price point
Would recommend: Yes
Daniel Defense BCG
The name speaks for itself I combined it with my DD4RIII upper and looking forward to getting tens of thousands of rounds out of it. Daniel Defense is the best at making some high quality BCG's.

Reliable BCG
This is one of the most reliable and durable BCGs that you can regularly purchase. These will last thousands of rounds. Pick up a few for builds and spares!

Daniel Defense BCG
Excellent BCG, equally at home in pistol, SBR and rifle applications. Pairs well with SpringCo USA buffer springs and Kaw Valley tungsten buffers.
