Great holster needed a heavy break in period but once broke in is a whole other story easy in and out the clip on the holster definitely needs to be upgraded

This is the best holster for my Taurus 85 ultra lite that I own. Its a little stiff right now. But it is slowly braking in becoming more comfortable. I am happy with this purchase. As we all know it is pretty tough trying to find the right holster. I do recommend this one.

Printed material packaged with the holster suggested the initial fit would be rather tight. It was in fact difficult to insert the revolver and trying to draw from an "AIWB" location required both hands as the holster would rock or "lever" around on the clip. After wearing it several times on day hikes, hours at a time, and storing the revolver in the holster, it loosened and formed itself for a good fit and smooth steady draw. Reholstering through the flared top is doable but it's somewhat flattened by my IWB carry belt.
The leather's slight flex and smooth contoured edges make this DeSantis seem far more comfortable than my kydex/semi-auto models. I positioned the clip in the center mounting hole to allow the 3" barrel revolver to ride a little higher for seated and driving comfort, and may just cut off the protruding end of the clip that now extends past the bottom end a bit.
The 4-star design issue : Despite the T-nut anchor I just can't get the clip tight enough to remain vertical. It rotates enough in use to allow a sometimes uncomfortable cant deviation to to occur. Maybe adding some kind of locking washer or second anchor would stabilize this?
This is my first and only leather holster in my current EDC experience. I still have the Hoyt 1941 Duty Holster from my US Army MP rotation back in 1970-72. It's still serviceable with all rivets and most stitching intact. If I could ever again tolerate that deafening concussion of those 1911A's I will consider a DeS...

Holster arrived perfect as my others have. Detail and fit excellent. Retention passes for holding while upside down. I carry both as with my belt or on an additional strap on over my scrubs or casual wear. I have forgotten I'm wearing at times and have to go back to my car as clinical environments don't support concealed.

This firearm has all the qualities a holster should provide: The firearm fits the holster perfectly: The holster conceals well on my left side for an easy right hand draw: Easy to put on and to take off: plus it is not uncomfortable to wear: The quality leather and workmanship to over the top.

I have carried my KelTec P3AT in a desantis pocket holster for 25 years.It hasn't worn out. I got this holster for a J-frame Smith. It carries well for hip or appendix use. The only retension is the shape of the holster and the gunbelt. I have a steel belt from Alien Gear and the combination works very well.

Nice holster but unholstering is very difficult, I would not recommend on an emergency situation!! I tried different angles on the clip and the result was the same. Material quality is great but the design needs additional thinking.

I took a chance and ordered this holster after my Uncle Mikes holster kept sliding out of my waistband. My revolver ended up on the ground twice and has a couple of dings in it now because of that.

I've been using the Flex-Tuk for a few weeks now and I'm very happy with it. No more surprises. The little hook on the end of the belt clip keeps it from slipping off and it fits my S&W perfectly. Quality of constructions looks good. I'm planning to order another one.

I would order from Optics Planet again. Highly concealable and can
wear all day. Hardly know it's there, quick draw and can be re holstered
without removing from belt.

I wear this rig daily with a Taurus model 85 w/2" barrel. I carry in the "appendix" position and there is no problem even with sitting. The only complaint I have is that the belt clip tends to rotate a bit. However, the gun still stays in relatively the same spot, it just cants a bit. The leather is stiff enough for easy reholstering without taking off the holster and has good (but not too tight) retention. I've ran and jumped with this without worry of my gun coming out. It also completely covers the hammer so it won't dig into you. I only wish they made these for more gun models!
