On first inspection there are no imperfections in the leather. Fit is nice tight out of the package with the right amount of tension. Clean, simple, classic. More than fair price for what you get.

Great holster! Fits the gun perfectly with under barrel laser, this is my second, exactly the same holster( this one's a gift for my wife) of which I wear every day, it breaks in nicely but remains good looking and totally functional. This is undoubtedly the best holster I've ever had

Bought this for a Smith and Wesson EZ 380 which the description said this holster was made for. And yes the gun fits it perfectly, However,the gun seats too deep into the holster to allow for a full grip on the gun. If the firearm is pulled up flush with the bottom of the holster it is perfect and will stay there in normal situations. But I am not comfortable in the fact it will stay in this position in the unfortunate event that I would ever have to pull my weapon and my life depended on it. If you can't achieve a full grip every time without fail then the holster is flawed. I intend to either close the bottom or somehow modify it so the gun sets flush with the bottom of the holster.It was on sale at a great price but is not worth the time, effort and money to return. I am also left handed and the holster is very comfortable to wear and sets just right for me. It would be a perfect holster were it not for the depth problem. It's an open bottom holster to clarify and the retention device is screwed down tight. It still will drop through the holster with very little effort seating the grip against the holster

Excellent fit for M&P Shield 9 profile, provides trigger protection and stable gun security as well as easy draw. Leather is a very high quality and the finish is excellent. I have also purchased one for M&P9C

Holds pistol well and is comfortable seems to be well made and its small enough to carry concealed under a light shirt. You can adjust the holster for the amount of tension you want by simply turning a Phillips screw. For the money its well worth the price

Great holster. Fits the Shield perfectly. Shipping was fast. The leather and belt loop is very pliable and easy to draw and reholster. Mine is for a 9mm Shield. But I would guess the 40 Shield would fit just as well.

fits the pistol perfectly, easy to draw and re holster. Little difficult to thread a stiff belt thru the leather and belt loop but when its on it's good to go. It's quality is top of the line. Didn't need to adjust the tension screw either.

The Mini Scabbard fits my S and W Shield well. Great for concealed carry. It is not lined. The price was right. It's adjustable for draw tension. I have the same holster for a couple of other pistols.I would buy another Mini Scabbard.

Pistol fits perfect, and the gun is at the right cant when threaded into a belt. The leather is the right thickness to keep it's shape. This is the best holster that Desantis has come up with yet. Simple, yet gets the job done. I highly recommend this product and this is a good company to do business with.
