DoubleStar Adjustable .750in Low Profile Gas Block
I built a 6.5 Grendel upper with a 24” barrel recently and was having some issues with pressure and ejection. Install this adjustable gas block and was easily able to tune it to each type load I am using. Definitely needed with carbine or extra long barrel lengths. Would recommend this gas block ...

Did not work for my application on a very over gassed carbine with an m16 bcg and low profile rail. This product would be better used on a competition gun running a low mass bolt carrier group, light buffer and light spring. Also beware that like many others, this block doesn’t fit well under slim a...

It’s a nice gas block but as far as adjustable I didn’t see a change in any adjustment of the screw I turned the screw all the way in which should have shut it off or at least lesson pressure but saw no difference. So if ur looking for just a gas block it’s fine but if u are looking for adjustability stay away and just buy a surplurative (prolly not spelled right ) I have a couple and work real nice I cheaped up on this purchase and should have née better
Pros:
None on adjustability
Cons:
Did not work

This product is poorly designed. The adjustment screw (the black one, by the way- there are no instructions at all with this) faces the receiver rather than the muzzle, so the hand guard probably has to come off to adjust it. The other thing- for my low mass operating system build, the adjustment screw ended up so deep that the brass set screw actually threads across the end of the adjustment screw... ridiculous.
