Most Helpful Positive Review 10 rds sold from Chicago
As I’ve already stated before, all and every mag sold in or shipped from Optics Planet will be 10 rounds or less because they’re in CHICAGO! This is not due to the manufacturer but because of your rights being neutered in CHICAGO! Move to Texas and vote Republican! These magazines are AWESOME!
Most Helpful Negative Review The Lowest quality mag I have ever laid hands on.
I originally bought two for a friend and his new build. I received them, took them over to him and we began loading our magazines for a shoot. We got to these.....airsoft like magazines. First and for most, We could not for the life of us get a full 5 rounds in them. It seems they just haphazardly c...

Seems well made and zero malfunctions

I ordered two of these and didn’t know what to expect given the negative reviews. I’ve only used these on two range sessions but they worked flawlessly. Fed perfectly and the bolt locked back as expected. There’s no problem loading the full 10 rounds and there’s just enough give to the spring to seat the mag (with some force of course) on a closed bolt. The finish is more of a silver color than it is grey and there are some sharp edges (at least when compared to my Colt magazines), but that’s being really nit picky. I definitely will be ordering more of these.

BEST MAGAZINES PERIOD!

by Txgreek Txgreek, from TX, United States Written on March 13, 2022
Recently I purchased over 60 of these mags and loaded up half with Speer 75 grain 223 SP’s for the just in case ever happens (Russia/Biden/Civil Unrest…etc) and after 10 years of being loaded I took 10 of those mags to run them and wow, they ran flawlessly in two of my AR’s, one being Barrett Rec7 piston and the other being a DI. Don’t understand why there is negativity on these mags for being crimped to hold less rounds with the look of normal 30rd capacity when it actually states this in writing. All I can say is that 10 years being fully loaded and they ran flawlessly, just can’t be beat. Duramags/CProducts are the top choice of mags, especially the SS (stainless steel) mags, outstanding! BTW, I even use these for my 300 blackout and 300 ham’r with ZERO issues. Just absolutely love these things. Just remember to read before purchasing, outstanding mags no matter the round count!
Pros:
  • Every aspect is perfect
Cons:
  • none I experienced
Best Used for:
  • Ar platforms

Piece of crappy work but workable I would recommend if you know what you're getting into

by Ridge, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on August 2, 2020
In this situation you get what you pay for it is a real piece of cr@p and the area where you load and unload your ammo it is sharp and tends to snag if you're willing you can take a Dremel and smooth it out and if you really want to AT YOUR OWN RISK! And are desperate enough you can take a correctly sized drill bit and remove the crimp yourself there is a risk of nicking the spring but that has not happened to me
