Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Night-Vision Quality
Love these goggles. These US-made (I think, it doesn't say China anywhere on them from what I can see) allowed me to see the enemy from miles away during my deployment to Afghanistan, without a single issue. After my (blessed) DD-214 finally came through, I was devastated to learn I would not be allowed to take home $50,000 of US Military property. So devastated, in fact, that I saw no other option than to purchase a set of these for myself. While they did require the sale of 70% of all my possessions, in addition to my left kidney, they allow me to keep my darned brother out of my deer blind ...

Airsoft grade nods for sure.

by Suq Madiq, from AA, United States Written on February 5, 2022
All my pals are hella jealous when I rock the antlers @ the airsoft range. I asked my mom to get me another set cause the lenses are kind getting jacked up from getting hit. My only gripe is they don’t work that great in the day but I still wanna look hard so I use them anyway.
Pros:
  • Kinda cheap, hold up to airsoft
Cons:
  • Need two pairs cause they come in black too
Best Used for:
  • Airsoft
Would recommend: Yes

Fantastic NVG for first time buyers and on a budget too!

by CaptainPrice, from CA, United States Written on February 11, 2021
Was recommended by a friend to pick these up while they’re still in stock. I was surprised at how well these nods worked and especially for such a low affordable price. I’ve gotten plenty of hours with this on deployment and let me tell you this is the best budget nods out there. When I’m behind enemy lines on call of duty I love to wear them on my head when I’m playing search and destroy to fully immerse myself in the game. Also great for wandering around the house at night when it’s hard to see. All I have to do is just flip down my nods and I can see everything in the dark. Planning on buying a few more pairs of these for the bathroom and kitchen when I can’t see at night I can just put them on. If you’re on a budget and looking for something to get around the house with at night I highly recommend these.

Huge improvement

by Sierra05Actual, from WA, United States Written on October 3, 2020
I’ve used multiple iterations of nod’s during and after my military career and can say without a doubt that these are the most impressive iteration thus far. Better optical clarity, depth perception and light sensitivity than any other device available. With that said they’re not cheap and are very narrowly scoped to mission critical units. From my experience only the top tier units have these available and rightly so, these are game changers.
Pros:
  • Literally the best available option
Cons:
  • Bulky
  • Heavy
Best Used for:
  • HSLD
Would recommend: Yes

Ok, the cop guy wins

by Jason, from NH, United States Written on October 1, 2020
The first review on this was absolutely hilarious 5/5. I was thinking about writing something similar, then I read that "cop's" review. No matter how long I think of a satirical story about why you should buy these, there is no way I can beat that guy's story. I'm wheezing laughing about it. He really had me fuming until I realized that it was a joke and he couldn't be a real person. Hats off to you.
Pros:
  • Very realistic
  • Full commitment to the joke
  • Flawless execution
  • roller coaster of emotions
Cons:
  • This is both a pro and a con... how is there a review section for this product
Best Used for:
  • anybody that is procrastinating/wants a good laugh

I you have the need, you have the coin, and you have the credentials, you can't do much better.

by Seth, from AZ, United States Written on September 30, 2019
Scenario: You have a warrant to serve on a family member who might be in one of 6 buildings across 3 properties in a very small town out in the desert. You do your homework, and identify who lives in these 6 houses. One of the occupants has a record for having attended the police academy, but upon further research he was decertified, and prosecuted for reckless discharge of his duty weapon, and has other weapons charges. Now you need someone in the weed watching these houses as the entry teams go in. With the 90+ degree field of view officer safety is greatly enhanced. Image clarity is among the best available. This means less officers in the weeds, and much faster acquisition of any potential targets. We need eyes on and around every house or outbuilding on every lot. These fit the bill! It's a lot less like looking through toilet paper tubes. From the proper distance the whole house can be visually covered. Ambient light does not mess with these as badly as with cheaper models. These features can and will save lives. I had guide a team in from behind the main roads and these NODS were just awesome. Sadly I had to stay out in the weed and watch. Actually that was fine with me. We had to surreptitiously enter right underneath an industrial facility's security, and surround this property. We had a criminal ex-cop with multiple weapons charges. Everyone knows everyone, so one phone call and our guy could be gone with the wind, or his ex-cop som starts shooting at people again....
