Most Helpful Negative Review Worthless in bright sunlight
Purchased an XPS 2 awhile ago. Works well as long as your not in bright sunlight. Reticle is barely visible. EOTech XPS2 on new SOLGW Mark 1

As you probably know, US Special Forces Command decided to stay with 5.56 and after extensive testing just ordered a large amount of Mark 1 SBRs from Sons of Liberty Gun Works. I just got a civilian version configured as a pistol with 11" barrel in grey. Since many SF people use the EOTech holographic sights for CQB, i got a grey one from Optics Planet. This sight is amazing, very wide field of view, super fast, easy sighting and bomb-proof build. Highly recommended.

Traded red for green and it’s so much easier to see in bright sunlight. Holographic is the answer. Keeping both eyes open is like a heads up display. Improves balance when shooting on the move with full peripheral vision. Love it!

nice sight

After contemplating any of a dozen different sights on Amazon, watching YouTube, and reading blogs/forums, i decided to go with the eo tech xps2-2. I haven't shot at more than 100 yards so the dots havn't been validated with the ammo I've been using per se, but at 50 yards it looks good.
I have it on an x95, and again while the 2 dot might be overkill for the rifle it allows for a frame of reference and it wasn't fuzzy with my astigmatism.
It's expensive, but you get what you pay for

Awesome dot, bad buttons

I love Eotech dots. I have an EXPS3-1 as well. My only complaint with the XPS2 is that the buttons suck compared to the EXPS3. They are mushy and unresponsive but it is the lower end model so I'll take that trade off for price. I'd still buy it again for what I'm using it for.
