Savage Model 10 GRS 6.5 creedmoor
Want to change my 0 MOA rail to a 20 MOA. Rail fit nice on my savage model 10 grs ,but the screws are wrong thread size. Screws that came with rail are #640 need #840,didnt say anything about screw size on product information.

I ordered a picatinny rail for my savage timberline and love it! Mounted on the rifle without a problem and my scope is now set and mounted. Love my opticsplanet. the only site that made it easy to order the right rail for my rifle.

If it will work on my rifle it is the only scope base I will use. You have plenty of options on where to put your scope rings. Light weight and strong.

Nice addition to any rifle
EGW scope mounts have not let me down yet. They are well made and the fit is true. I have not found any quality scope rings that won’t work with the EGW base. I have these on hunting to “F” class to plinking rifles. Why spend hundreds when EGW does the job for less.

In 2022 I still get old version of pre-Dec.2020
In the last Q&A of Oct.2021, the expert stated that the mount will come with 8-40 screw. However, the mount I got still has 6-48 screws only. EGW claims that all the mount manufacturered after Dec.2020 will come with both 6-48 and 8-40 screws. I don't know if the one I got is an old stock or returned merchandise. It's so tiring waiting for a week for it to arrive, then have to return, and hopefully OP has new stock for replacement.

Not the current model. Beware!
This is the model that accepts the 6-48 screws only, not the current one (as of 3/2021) that comes with both sizes (8-40 and 6-48 with the larger head). The package I received had already been opened, the heat seal was completely broken on one side and the package torn. For some reason, it also contained 5 6-48 screws.

Easy fit, solid mount
This rail fits my 7mm-08 Savage Axis mounted in a Boyds stock and looks like it belongs there. I'll be mounting a Leopold VX-R 3-9x40 on it which is not too heavy for carry and should have a low profile with low rings.

Rail fits perfict
Fits just right. Easy to install. Makes changing optics fast and easy. It would be a little better if they extended the length to a low more movement for different optics and additional accessories. Overall it is a good product.

20moa savage base
Excellent product for the price. Fit perfect, holes all ligned up perfect. I'm sure there are better bases but this one does what it is supposed to and fit perfect. I didn't get quite a full 20moa out of it but that may be because of the rest of my setup compared to the flat base I was running.
