The metal that locks the legs in place is weak

Nice looking bipod and the design is pretty good. Unfortunately the metal that they used is weak as adjusting the legs forward and back a couple times has worn down the grooves that lock the legs in place. On one side particularly, the groove was machined too shallow and the leg slips out of the locking groove without much force on the leg (applying pressure forward or backward) making the bipod useless.

Good quality

Very good quality and heavy duty. Got one of these on an open box and I see now why they are expensive. I will be keeping an eye out on the open box section for these and adding to collection.

FAB Defense SPIKE Tactical Bipod, this bipod is my choice for my long range rifles. It's a little heavy but in my long range shooting I'm not running and gunning I'm taking my time and shooting low and slow... The wide stance is very stable.

This is a quality Israeli made Bipod that functions extremely well . I works well with the picatinny lower rail .
I use it on my Fab Defense Ruger 10/22 stock

My Spike Bipod

I will say I was replacing a defective bipod. Wanted something nice but not $400 worth of nice. I saw the reviews and the videos on this and thought to give it a try. I got this and was impressed. It is wonderful, and it costs under 200 bucks. I was so impressed I'm going to put one on my Ruger PRS rifle.
