No, I haven't shot it yet; still building with this barrel. Got an amazing deal on an upper, I thought. Not impressed with how much it weighed thou. Wanted a light and maneuverable build, so ordered this barrel. Stout enough to shoot many mags through, and not spreading the MOA all over. From past experience, this should fit the bill. Goes to show it wasn't the deal I thought I was getting.

I did a ton of research before putting together my first component build. I'm not schooled enough for literally building one from the "screws up". Combining this barrel w a high quality adjustable gas block has resulted in a really reliable pistol configuration in .300 BLK sub, with a Silencerco 30 cal suppressor - Chimera, 36M, Velos LBP and new 46M Hybrid - I've used them all on this build and now the Chimera stays on it in my safe and on the range.
Haven't had any cycling issues once I set the gas adjustment right. I try to use the same ammo on the range always, but sometimes different ammo needs a slight gas adjustment. This is a bit lighter weight barrel too, and my goal was to build the lightest unit possible, from the trigger, hand guard, brace, grip and more, I couldn't be happier with this Faxon barrel.
I have 2 more now in other sizes & calibers for other builds. Once I find something that I really like (like Silencerco), I stick with and trust buying other items from the MFG.

Faxon makes too quality barrels. 5r rifling and some of the top notch performance that you can expect out of a match grade barrel. High recommended

I like this barrel it is seemingly of high quality it works well I like the gunner profile mix of socom and pencil I like everything about it its loaded with features not normally found in and is a quality well above its cost bracket.
