I bought this item a while back and I noticed no one has still reviewed it.
I've had this for about 9 months now and I have nothing but good things to say about this barrel.
It's light, the price is fair, and the muzzle brake is decent. You dont have to pay a gunsmith to get the muzzle brake pinned!
I had no issues with getting my superlative gas block on it.
Faxon is an awesome brand I love them.

Great product
I bought a lesser product that was slightly heavy AND noticeably less precise at 100 yds. Well finished, installs as expected, and performs very well despite very light weight.

Faxon pencil barrel is a superstar
The hype is spot on. My Faxon 14.7" barrel/16.1" barrel with muzzle device on my KE arms KP-15 lower makes for a AR that is super light weight. The light weight makes for a rifle that handles better than you can possibly imagine. Accuracy with the assistance of a red dot is much, much better than expected too. Orange clay skeet targets laying on the berm at 100 yards were smoked with ease. The muzzle brake tames the recoil, but is painfully loud if you forget to put in your ear protection,
