The ultimate lightweight AR barrel
This is the one. It should be the barrel of choice for any ultra light AR build. 14.5" barrel with integral flash hider making this total length 16". It helped me build my AR weighing 3.7 lbs. And it is a Faxon.

no feed ramp?!
Instant feed issues with my build, the feed ramp is basically non existent and I will be forced to go to a gunsmith to have one machined in. Aside from that, integrated well with my build, no issues installing and looks great.
Faxon Barrel
Great barrel made my AR liter. Recommend if you are building a lite weight AR

Lightweight and accurate
This is a great barrel, especially if weight is a concern. The overall length is 16in, which brings it to a legal length. Having the flash hider machined into the barrel is just a really cool idea as well. Love this barrel.

Covered in rust!
The barrel (inside and out), chamber, lugs and flash hider are covered in rust. I contacted faxon and they said it was from not being wiped off after the salt process.

350 Legend Gunner Barrel
To whom it may concern
I purchased a 350 Legend barrel through Optics Planet February of 2022. This barrel was used to build an AR style carbine. When the gun was finished and taken to the range spent cases would not eject properly. Upon further examination I noticed a mark was imprinted on spent cases which caused excess force to extract and eject the spent case. Problem seems to be a defective chamber. As a result of this problem semi-automatic is a single shot carbine.

Good weight, balance and size for a solid general use carbine
I've owned several Faxon barrels, and have always been happy with the quality and features of these barrels.
This one is no exception.
The integral flash hider machined right into the barrel steel is a cool idea for those looking to get a 14.5" barrel in a legal full 16" config.
Balance of the gunner barrels are rather nice. Just a tad heavier than the pencil barrel, but having a noticeably more rigidity.
I have both profiles, and both are in fact great.
Go for the gunner if you just want to squeeze out a little heavier use and MAYBE accuracy. Tho, the pencil has not let me down yet.

Solid and accurate!
Bought this barrel for a light weight carbine build that was legal rifle length but compact. This barrel is perfect for that with a total length of 16" from breech face to end of flash hider so total length from front of upper to end of barrel is only 15 1/2". It has a nice small diameter flash hider built in (all one piece) and allowed me to use a muzzle style bore-sight with no problems. That said the accuracy is outstanding. I have fired commercial defense ammo and cast round nose and truncated cone reloads with similar accuracy and complete reliability. The price is very reasonable and the fit in a milspec upper was about as close to perfect as you can get. At this point I am using a mag adapter block in a standard lower and have had no feeding/extracting issues what so ever. Overall I have complete confidence and satisfaction in this barrel.
