Most Helpful Positive Review Good for price
Small, cheap, but not 180 lumen, more like 70 . Compared to Sure Fire with 125 lumen which had twice the output. Has touch pad accessory that works laser or light or laser and light as long as you press pad, release pressure turns light off. Works well on left side of rifle for thumb to work either ...

I really like the concept but it’s not worth waisting your money. The light is weak not 180 lumen and the remote is junk. The plug in adapter doesn’t seat down in the flashlight housing and doesn’t make good contact.

falling apart

by Corey Willett, from MD, United States Written on August 6, 2023
The rubber cap for the laser function fell off. I know you get what you pay for but I havent even shot it on a rifle yet. The pressure pad plug wouldnt stay in so i wraped a ranger band around it to hold tension. Now the wire is pulling out of the jacket by the plug. Just a waste of money if you ask me.
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • Falls A part

Very poorly designed

by Philip, from OH, United States Written on January 25, 2023
I thought for the cheap price I would give this light/laser unit a try. It would probably be great for airsoft, but for an actual rifle, this is not a good option. The laser will not hold zero with 5.56 recoil. The light is to dim to be useful at night. And the 1913 Picitiny mount is not precise or robust enough to mount straight onto the rail. So not only is there laser shift from recoil, the whole unit will shift, even when torqued properly. I would not recommend this unit to anyone unless they are using it for airsoft.
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • poor design
  • will not hold zero
  • Light/laser are extremely dim

Stay away not good

by Chris, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on September 26, 2022
Seriously save your money. This is a good concept but if you want to use it you'll have to somehow alter it to work. The pressure pad connection won't seat down all the way and 99% it won't allow your like to work.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Poorly design

Cheap for lite use

by James Brambach, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on February 1, 2022
Bought this to put in my ar 15 .223. Did not hold its zero after 20 rounds gine through it would be good for close quarters but not made for the punishment a rifle will give it. I like the idea of it however wish I would have read some review first
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • Doesn't hold zero with rifle

firefield laser light combo

by josh, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on May 24, 2021
Seems nice for the price but would recommend to the company to have the pressure switch use a regular jack end like the peq 15 so I could tie in my surefire light into a pressure also dosnt seem water proof ...wish the laser adjustments had set screws like a Burris fastfire so it would hold zero indefinitely I’m sure this is a great option for home defense but definitely not going to be a go to war option ,would be a great option for Airsoft.

Unfortunately I train like I fight and I’m sure I will break it but hope it can hold up for a year and hold a zero
Pros:
  • Afordable
Cons:
  • Laser adjustments
  • not water proof
  • should use cr123
Best Used for:
  • Airsoft
  • home defence

Solid, but eats batteries

by Rob the independent semi-liberal moderate, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on February 9, 2021
This little laser/light box is packaged in a durable metal case. The remote momentary switch works well, but I do not like how much play there is in the socket to connect it. The momentary switch's wire length is appropriate to mount the unit above or just in front of an AR receiver and have plenty of length to reach common hand hold positions, or to mount it in the front and have it reach a fore hand grip position. I would like to see a water tight cover for the remote switch socket when it isn't in use.

The elevation/windage on the laser is easily adjustable with an Allen wrench/hex driver. I haven't taken this to the range yet, but I wouldn't be shocked if I need to use a little LockTite on the elevation/windage adjustments to keep them from moving. They do not have detents to click into as they turn -- it is a smooth adjustment with no locking mechanism. To avoid problems, have LockTite on hand.

The flashlight is good strength and cone spread for indoor and close quarters combat situations, making it excellent for home defense. This is not adequate for hunting or most other other outdoor shooting.

When a battery wears down, the first indication is the laser will go off if the flashlight goes on, but both will operate fine independently. Always test your battery power by turning on the light and the laser at the same time. Not doing so can lead to the nasty surprise of having the laser working during range time, but at night for home defense, the aiming laser ...

It will be broken sooner than later. It's not particularly robust. has a nice feel. It's not a waste of money. I can't see it holding a zero but time will tell.the light is weak compared to pistol lights. Laser is easy to see.
Pros:
  • Cheap Price
Cons:
  • Cheaply made

  • Airsoft
