Most Helpful Negative Review Not impressed
Not at all impressed Shooting an average of 1.25 MOA 5-shot groups @ 100 yrds with Wolf (100 gr.), Nosler Trophy Grade (129gr.), and my own hand loads (123gr.). This Fort Scott stuff was all over the paper. Not just a little...but a lot. Ejected brass was also landing in different spots. Went throug...

I'm sorry to hear of bad experiences.

by Fortscottmunitions, from KS, United States Written on April 25, 2023
For reference and a different viewpoint. Our testing in a 26-inch barrel with a 1:8 twist resulted in Sub-MOA accuracy at 100 yards. I would say guns love our stuff - but there are those that do not do well with it. I'd appreciate it if you two who had bad experiences would give FSM another shot if you would ever purchase a new firearm. I appreciate the honest feedback.

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY

by ScottS, from SC, United States Written on April 1, 2023
I had the exact same experience as a previous reviewer. Given the reviews, I kept giving this stuff the benefit of the doubt. I finally gave up on my 6.5 Grendel upper completely until I decided to try other brands of ammo. I don’t reload, but it didn’t take long to reach the conclusion that this fort scott TUI ammo is garbage! do yourself a favor, avoid the headaches, and buy something else!!! M
Pros:
  • Copper bullet
Cons:
  • None

Good stuff for range and hunting.

by Grendel man, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on September 10, 2022
I went to the range to break in /sight in a new upper and a new scope.
Upper: BCA Left hand side charging 20" barreled upper mounted on DPMS lower.
Scope: Burris Fullfield E1 6.5-20X50mm.
I did the break in using Wolf 100gr steel case ammo then compared that with PPU 120gr, Alexander 123gr and lastly the Fort Scott Munition 123gr. All I can say is that my BCA upper loves this stuff. I was getting 1/4" groups at 100yrds. I will take this ammo to farther distances to see how well it groups in the future. I do wish it was cheaper, but it is what it is. I will continue to use the Wolf till Ammo goes back down. I would Highly Recommend this ammo for the BCA 6.5 Grendel. I think this ammo would be a good buy at $27-$33 at most.
Pros:
  • Works will in a BCA upper
  • Good for plinking
  • hunting medium to large game
Cons:
  • Price (a little steep!)
Best Used for:
  • Hunting large game

Good Stuff

by Grendel man, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on September 10, 2021
They have the same brass as other top quality brands and are reloadable. The difference is in the bullet it's self. The bullet makes a world of difference on impact and it is as accurate as other top brand ammunition on the market today.
Pros:
  • good quality
  • Solid brass
  • great on impact
Cons:
  • None so far
Best Used for:
  • hunting
