Game Changer
I stumbled on this during a build I was working on a builld. While I must admit the cost is substantially more than a regular castle nut. It's definitely worth the investment. It looks great!! Not to mention, the functionality is unsurpassed.

Weak design
Nice looking piece. I ordered because of the good reviews, but even at the high price point, the quality is lacking. The teeth broke right off of the nut. Guess im just out the money. You would get the same quality on a much cheaper option. JMHO.
Great BP/CN Combo
Super easy install, solid material, and looks amazing totally matches the color AR scheme I was going for. Totally swapping out my other ARs with this combo.

Pretty impressive. The fit and finish is 10/10. Like how its a little deeper than other options. The QD swivel goes right in with a good audible click. Rotates smoothly.

Excellent fit and finish
I initially had a little issue getting this threaded to my extension (seemed like it might be crossthreading), but ultimately chalked it up to finish tolerances between the parts. With a little oil and patience I had no problem getting it installed. The finish and weight are fantastic, and the lockup seems quite solid.

I’ve bought 3 of these, they’re very user friendly both torquing them on and removing them is a breeze, and if you’re someone who changes the parts on their gun like a girl changes clothes, than this thing is perfect for you.

Works Perfectly as Advertised
I purchased this to throw onto a Grendel DMR build I’m working on. First off, this thing is LIGHT! I don’t just mean lighter than the Geissele end plate/castle nut. I mean this this is practically weightless. The quality of this product is also top tier in my opinion. Lastly, the design and functionality are impressive. It not only adds functionality and reduces weight but it also is basically fail proof when installed properly. I did not receive directions with it BUT there is a video by the manufacturer available on YouTube explaining the install start to finish. 100% recommend.

Fantastic products
K1 is tapered castle nut version and K2 is lever lock version. Both are fantastic and negate the necessity for staking castle nuts and allow for easier removal when necessary. Make sure you torque correctly and they will serve you indefinitely. Additionally they are ultra lightweight. Functionality between K1 & K2 are horse a piece. Fortiss customer service is excellent and products are all top notch. Bonus, Optics Planet is an excellent company on all levels!
