Great product at an affordable price!! The nickel boron coating makes for a very nice finish. The FosTech Outdoors Ar-15 stripped carrier w/ gas key m16 bolt carrier shipping was very fast and packaged very well

Poor Staking
The finish and machining looks great!
But...
Gas Key has some pretty poor staking, it also uses YFS Screws. That could be a deal breaker to some. I've been spoiled by Toolcraft as far as budget Bolt Carriers go.
Better Bolt
Any time I can get nickel boron at a reasonable price I get it. Matched with other nickel boron internals, and she runs like a well tuned machine! The staking is not exaggerated, but it does get the job done. The finish is not as shiny like a Failzero Bcg’s, but it does give you a smooth action.

not sure about "nickel boron"
I've bought many nickel boron bcg from other manufacture before (PSA), it's much shinier & slick. However, this BCG is very dull looking and not slick at all. I guess for someone looking for a cheaper options it may work BUT do your research first!

Pretty Good Carrier
Got a bolt and firing pin sitting around? Want to take the cheap route and still end up with a decent BCG? Look no further! I got the Nickel Boron and the finish was decent enough. Nothing “enhanced” about this carrier but it’s a tried and true standard construction that’ll get the job done.

Not bad for price.
Staking could be better but it is a decent BCG for the money. You could restake it a little with a punch. gently.. Complete BCG should be available for a little bit more. that would be a great deal. nicklw boron is even better.

this is a very good boat carrier the shipping is extremely slow if you want to wait a very long time you got the right place because it takes sometimes 2 weeks to ship so be warned if you use this company you better have some time to burn slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow shipping

Very nice Bolt Carrier
Just received this and it is extremely nice. Unit is heavy, machine work as you would expect and Gas block is staked as good as any I've ever seen! Finish is not polished but it is very smooth and bolt looks great. Very very pleased, would highly recommend this as an excellent quality product. I bought two of them

FosTech Bolt Carrier Nickel Boron
I was a little hesitant at first to purchase this based on another review of poor staking of gas screws. There is nothing wrong with this carrier. It is quality machined and coated. The Nickel Boron coating is a dull mat finish and not a highly polished finish. It's a bolt carrier, not a piece of jewelry. If you want a high polished bolt carrier, then look elsewhere. If you want a quality functioning BC, then you will not be disappointed. Additionally, there is nothing wrong with the staked gas key screws, it looks just like other bolt carriers I own from famous high end brand names.
