Galco Shoulder Holster
The holster leather is very soft and pliable. Adjustments are easy to make, and the system is very comfortable. The leather appears to be high quality. I did not give it a 5 star because the connector for all he leather pieces is plastic. I would have preferred that it be leather also.

Beautiful craftsmanship, comfy fit, gun fits great. Definitely a nice product that is well made. Would recommend purchasing they are a little spendy but you get what you pay for, should last a long time

I always wanted one
I always wanted one but they were just a little to pricy until I found ti here on Optics planet with free shipping too. My wife gave me a Dan Wesson 10mm Razorback for my B-day and this is just the rig for back country travel. Very comfortable and well balanced. I got the black one and am very happy with it. This rig is also great to throw over sweats when you'r not wearing a belt and just heading out for a short walk or feeding the horses etc.

You buy name brand - - you get quality!
Could not be more pleased with my Galco VHS. A little history first. For years, I carried Strong-Side OWB, usually a pancake. Then I switched to shoulder carry using a DeSantis rig. I never could seem to get it adjusted to my body style, which changed from trim to rounded (desk job). Now retired, I decided to try the Galco Vertical Holster. Smart choice! Only took me about 1 hour to adjust it (very easy). One thing I noticed right away is that the shoulder straps were wider than what was pictured. No complaints from me - - the "wider" straps are a Galco option?!? Consider me lucky. What I do recommend is the "tie-down" accessory.

Good holster but needs improved tie down.
This holster is very well made and I especially like the adjustment system that is very smooth and positive. I was not able to use the tie down system without lowering the mag pouch below where I would like to have had it (I'm 6'4" tall). Without the tie down system the holster and mag pouch were simply to free to move around for my taste. Ultimately I returned the holster due to this. I expect the horizontal model would ride better but I'm uncomfortable with the loaded pistol pointing at the back seat where people ride when I'm driving. Quality of construction for this holster is excellent as I've come to expect from Galco.

Retired old f.rt with too much time on my hands
I would have given a higher rating if:
(1). The Ruger LCR would be able to secure in place with the provided snap strap.
(2). The provided ammunition storage pouches should accept speed loader storage. (Magazine storage provided no use for a wheel gun; maybe to store fishing weights?).
The overall finish and quality of this rig however, is second to none. The unit is easily adjusted, although a size XXXL would find this a little snug. There is no tattle tale image under a light jacket or medium weight shirt even when not fully buttoned or zipped and the carry piece is readily accessible.

Excellent Holster
Received item in excellent condition and in timely fashion. Fits real comfortably. Took some time and work to get my pistol to fit. Followed the instructions and pistol fits securely and hangs nicely under my arm. Exactly what I was looking for.

Pefect Fit, Form, and Function
There are times where you just don't want to carry OWB or IWB, and a quality shoulder holster is just the ticket. This is my 3rd or 4th Galco rig, so I'm more than satisfied with the fit and function of their products. Great holster, great price, great customer service!

Vertical Shoulder Holster
Had some initial concerns with the attach points being plastic. So far has held up well under daily use. Fits well. Leather conforms to gun quickly making drawing the gun smooth. Leather appears to be of high quality and has held up well. It does take a little getting used to after having a pants holster for the last 18 years. I decided to go with a shoulder holster because my pants holster was causing me back issues. So far the back issues have gone away with the switch.

Break in Needed
I like the system. Own one for a revolver. However, while I like this system that I purchased for my Sig p226 MK25 I have had to spend a fair amount of time breaking in the leather. It fits way too snug. Had been advised it would work for my Mk 25, but because of the time it is taking to get it adjusted it may not have been good advise.
