I didn't buy this out of necessity. I bought this just to see/hear how it works... and to make my Beretta 21A look silly. The threads had a bit of a burr though, and I didn't want to use the Bobcat barrel as a tap... so I've ordered a tap to clean the threads up. Not a big deal. I will probably run into more uses for a 1/2"-28 tap in the future. Will return to this review once I've tried it on the little Beretta and my Glock 26. I certainly don't mind it being aluminium as it isn't a muzzle device that deals with significant pressures.

My mistake - Didn't realize this was a 1/2-36....but they don't even make a 1/2-28.
I'll keep it because it is what I ordered, but Guntec doesn't make a stubby 9mm can with the VERY (maybe most) popular 1/2-28 thread.
I would take another point off because it's aluminum and not steel, but again it is clearly described as aluminum, so I can't.

Minus 1 star for the design flaw. It's a little too shallow to be very effective; it needs at least 3/4" more, probably 1" more.

Pros:
- Looks cool....if that's important
Cons:
- Too stubby to direct the flash forward
Best Used for:
- Putting on the end of your gun ;)
