Difficulty reading my finger print from jump. Now it won't read it at all. Now it's out of warranty after 2 year. Should have returned it when I had the chance. I'll never buy another GunVault! Always thought they were the best until I owned one.

It's really too bad their quality is so bad for the lock portion and electronics. The actual metal construction seems near bulletproof. The print scanner portion was never perfect. It worked ok in the beginning and after about 6 months it would only open the safe sporadically. Started having to keep the key backup nearby for fear the scanner would stop working when I needed it most. Then just after the 1 year warranty period the entire electronics just stopped working. No light, no scanner, nothing. So now I'm stuck with a very expensive key lock box. Don't waste your money!

These are great sights I have them on nearly all my guns except my H&K VP40 ONLY because it came with night sights. The sight picture & target acquisition is easily sighted in. I trust these sights with my life as they jump off & just pop! I recommend everyone give they a run... you won’t be disappointed!!

This locker is amazing. I have previously bought the small version. I was overly impressed with it that I decided to purchase another. This Locker holds a total of six guns in which two are full sized guns. Though they have to be somewhat scatter- stacked it gets the job done. I like the unobtrusive lighting which allows you to covertly get to your firearm discreetly without illuminating yourself or giving away your location in darkness.

The fingerprint recognition does not work, thus defeating the whole purpose of the gun safe. After multiple attempts to program it, it would on occasion maybe 1 out of 20 tries actually open from print recognition.

I then went online to look for reviews on YT, and found many reviews from buyers that had the same issue.

Its a waste of your money and you should not buy it. It will end up being a door stopper or a bookend at best.

This is an amazing Vault ! It holds 6 guns slightly stacked . It gives me peace of mind when I have to leave it in the car or around my son. When I like to transport them from my huge home gun safe to the range,

This is the third Gunvault owned over 10+ years. I am comfortable and familiar with all aspects of owning and operating the Gunvault. Familiarity and rapid access to the contents of my Gunvault are very important. I highly recommend the Gunvault for anyone seeking a small durable rapid access safe.

Safe is everything I was hoping for. I can also throw it in the car or truck, and use it for traveling through non-compliant states.
As value goes I think it was well worth the price. It was easy to program to open with my finger print, which was important becuase I am no techi. I highly recommend this product, because of its quick access mechanism, size, and double shelf. So far I have not experienced any cons. It functions as advertised.

Was disappointed mainly by the fit of the foam inside. The piece on the roof fell down in shipping. I tried double-sided tape but it won't stay up. All the foam pieces seem a little too large and are shoved in. The center shelf is just a piece of Kydex plastic. I use it plugged in and the door really seems to snap open nice. I don't like the beep when it opens. Might try to find the speaker and cut it. I like the light on the inside but wished it stayed on longer. I have not had any failure to reads on the fingerprint yet, but programming was tricky to figure out as the instructions are for other models as well. For the price, it will keep my pistol locked up from my kid and her friends.

I recommend getting a safe with a regular keypad lock over this bio-metric safe, the GVB 2000. After setting this safe up, I found it very difficult to program in fingerprints, and, when using the safe I get a failure to open on almost every attempt, which requires me to make several attempts to open the safe. One reason I suspect for the failure is that with my pointer finger on the sensor button, it is quite a reach to touch the activating button which causes me to rotate my hand to reach that button. This is not due to my wife or me having extremely short fingers, we are average - the button is too far away with a pointer finger on the sensor.
Another problem issue I found is the 9 volt battery is not secured properly in the safe. The clip does not hold the battery securely and it falls down into the padding.
Also, the shelf is not very secure in the safe and can slide out with friction from the gun or whatever is on the shelf if you happen to slide the item out and not lift it off the shelf.
Last complaint. When the sensor does work and accepts the fingerprint, it still takes about 2 seconds for the safe to open, which seems like forever when waiting their in front of your safe.
A few positive notes, it does come with a nice template for drilling securing holes and three screws to use to secure it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.
Overall, I am disappointed in this safe and wish I had purchased a regular keypad safe.
