This product made my shooting experience both more comfortable, and more stable. It significantly improved my ability to shoot from the prone position, and to stay on target for longer durations of time.

Great Light Weight Unit

by mike, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on January 8, 2023
I have several of these Harris Units. These are Great Light Weight, Sturdy Units. People may comment they “Expected More” which makes me wonder what exactly they thought they ordered? I’ve noticed they have made minor improvements over the years, shedding a little extra weight, improving tolerances. Over all, it’s a great unit with MADE IN USA Quality.
Pros:
  • light weight
  • Easy to install
  • Low profile
  • rock solid
  • fair cost
  • made in America
  • Simple adjustments
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • LEO
  • recreation and competition

outdated and over ratef

by D C, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on December 30, 2021
This bipod is meh. Was expecting more when I got it and attached to my rifle. It’s pretty heavy and they are capable of panning like most modern bipods can nowadays. It’s study and provide a solid platform to make accurate stationary shoots. I return this and got an atlas instead. If you you’re just doing some bench shooting then I guess this will be good enough. If you plan on hunting and taking shots on possible moving targets I would go with something that has pan capabilities
Pros:
  • Sturdy, inexpensive
Cons:
  • None

Read this before purchasing!

by Jake, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on December 10, 2020
This Harris bipod does not swivel, it tilts for uneven surfaces. Your rifle will tilt left or right. This is not a bipod that swivels/pans for say, moving targets. Also, the legs to not eject, they retract spring loaded. You have to physically extended the legs, then hit the button for a quick retraction.

Harris Bipod

by Seth, from TX, United States Written on February 24, 2018
Its not an Atlas bit still an overall good bipod. I just wish that the friction lock lever for the swivel was included and not sold seperate. Also wish they came with multiple feet options as well. But guess that's how they make their money.
Pros:
  • Price
  • it works
Cons:
  • Included in package.
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting

American made

by Consul1, from FL, United States Written on January 14, 2018
Great quality from Harris. This bipod is extremely well engineered, constructed and will last a long time. I’m not the easiest on equipment and have banged it around pretty good. No problems! You don’t always get what you pay for, in this case I did. It would be nice if they shipped with mounting adapters. Had buy one to finstall on M-lok rail.
Pros:
  • great quality
Cons:
  • No mount bracket
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting, hunting.

This bipod is great. The product is just like discribed. I've used on Scar 16 & 17 and a 300 blackout ar. Quick mount adapter makes changing a breeze. I would definitely recommend this to my friends or anyone looking to get one.

Great product - best Bipod

by SniperCat, from FL, United States Written on April 30, 2017
This is my 3rd Harris Bipod in this model. It works, it's lightweight, and it's sturdy. I did add one item to it, a Pivot Handle. It really does make life easier instead of messing with the nut on the front end. Optics Planet always comes through. In fact both parts were scheduled to be shipped separately and they arrived together and ahead of schedule.

Best bipod for the money

by Ivanv, from TX, United States Written on March 27, 2017
Great build quality and great value. I use this for a bolt action guns it's great height for bench shooting. It feels rock solid proven design stupid simple to operate. The only short coming is this model dosent have any pan left or right. I give it a solid 5 out 5 I would buy another one any day of the week.

Well made bipod

by Ronin, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on January 28, 2017
Very well made bipod. Does what it needs to and easy to setup on your rifle. The only thing that I would change on the bipod is how easily the bipod swivels. A bit too loose for me but it doesn't warrant a less than a 5 start rating.
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • bench shooting
  • precise shooting
  • prone position
