Pressure Pad Buttons
Overall it's a good laser/light combo and there is multiple settings which need to be controlled on device itself. You can have laser, light, laser and light, or light strobe, so 4 settings. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the included pressure switch has 3 different buttons you can push, I was...

recieved damaged/misassembled unit
The LED was not flush in the cone, making the light dim with “rings”. Also got the fl9t model which so far works fine. Hawk Gazer has an 18 month warranty, but I will be returning this unit as it is a QC issue from the factory. Disappointed to say the least, but I suppose that’s why they are low ...

Good for me!
This is a decent affordable combo I'd slap on any of my hd weapons. Price is good for the features. Tactically quick battery swapping. No use for the pressure pads except on/off whatever your combo is set to. Laser, laser-light, light, or strobe light. Wish they had it with mlok cuz it sticks out a bit on an mlok ar with picatinny accessory rails if you wanted to side mount it. But it fits and sits well forward of a akg handstop on my 10.5 ar pistol, with plenty of room for my hand to grip the guard. Haven't mounted it on a handgun, but I think it would be cumbersome. I'd buy it again.
Pros:
- Bright laser
- Bright enough light
- Presets
Cons:
- None at this price point
Best Used for:
- Home Defense
- power outages
- Playing with your cat

Gazer flg 7, led and green laser
Light and green laser are very goog, not to wide of profile, mounting was very secure to pistol.

Two instead of 4/5 stars...for two-fingered "mode change" which not good for emergency
This is would be a perfect, budget laser/light combo for most carbine/ rifle setups with handguards + rails for accessory.
ALL except for these two small inconveniences, stupid design choices:
1.) What genius thinks I should need to press both left + right buttons simultaneously (under stress) to change modes. I tried to train around it, but if I can't do it reliably when practicing... it's a bad idea for night reliance.
>Simple fix (with current design) would be ambi on/off, ambi mode select change (hold EITHER L/R, not both, for 1.5-2sec). But it's not designed that way sadly...
2.) Same deal with the remote, 3-button pressure pad. I mean it ONLY turns it on, off, another fix to above would be allowing me use laser/light/mode change with the *already included* three button pressure pad.
3.) Yeah sux, cause I can;t return this thing... went ahead anyway got the $170 FLG-21 units to replace also from the same company, without any of these siully/small design flaws (done on purpose to make you 'step up models'?)
4.) So I guess this light goes to my paintball gear or on Ebay to another sucker. I mean customer.

Pros:
- Good laser, Good light
Cons:
- Mode change Simultaneous L=R button press, 3-button pressure pad = waste as only on/off
Best Used for:
- Paintball airsoft

This would be 5-star steal if the 3-button, remote pressure pad did more than on/off only.

I'm stepping up to the FLG-21 which has a true 3-button pressure pad (control lights, laser, strobe, on/off independently).
This would be the best deal on the market if it's 3-button pad could act at least like the "dual L/R" press on light housing itself, so cycle mode.
Oh well, it goes on the AR-9 backup house rifle, which is fine, nice green laser, nice light/bright. Hope the green laser holds...
Anyone try this AR-15, or AR-9, or even AR-10 recoil? The small allen key screws for the laser seem well lubricated, lol... worried that it won't hold zero upon shooting? Someone please tell me I'm wrong :)

Great Inexpensive Combo
I got this for my Mossberg 500 to stay on target while speed loading from a low ready position. Zero's very easily but he real test will be to see if zero holds under recoil from high brass slugs. Laser is bright and works well in daylight and the 250 lumen white light works well in CQB with out over powering in narrow hallways.
One thing to note: In the Optics Planet Package List for this product it shows it comes with rechargeable batteries and charger. It does not. The FLG-9T is rechargeable. Not this model.
For the price, I will probably purchase another one for my CZ Scorpion. The low profile of the FLG-7 will be a good fit on that gun!!

- Seems well made

entry tactical light and green laser
very bright light and decent laser for under $100. The metal housing and weaver/pic rail mount is definitely a step-up from their rechargeable screw Mount models. Uses 2 standard CR123A OR CR16340 batteries. Another nice upgrade from the proprietary rechargeable lithium available on some of their other units.
I would give it five stars but I'm not sure how durable it is or how well it holds zero but since this is a step up from their other models, of which I own many, I think it will be alright. a little loctite on the adjustment screws always helps

Well thought out
I bought one for my sons pistol. I like having a flashlight on my pistols the problem is they don’t fit my holster with it on. This unit is small enough it might fit. For the price this is a nice piece.
Pros:

Cons:
- Brightness
- Brightness could be brighter
Best Used for:
- Night time
