Hogue SIG Wharncliffe 3.5
I ordered this knife because it looked like it would match my SIG P229 Legion, & upon receiving it I was shocked to see how close it did. The fit & finish is spectacular the action is smooth. Even tho it is a manual flipper one could almost believe that it is an assisted opening knife. It fits in the hand very well, & the Wharencliffe blade is not only striking to look at, but is adapt to completing numerous task. Out of the box it has a mirror polished blade as good as any knife I have seen at any price point. I have around 40 pocket knives, but this is going to be my EDC for sure. The lockup...

Beautiful Action Flipper
Hogue makes a solid flipper. The action on this is very responsive, and once opened, tolerances are nice and snug. Very little blade play. The unique blade shape gives a nice cutting angle, with the long straight edge razor sharp out of the box. I actually bought this to replace the 4" version I lost (sad day!) but it speaks to how well the knife worked as an EDC that I couldn't resist getting another.

Cool Sig Whary
I got this knife after about a month of waiting but it was well worth the wait. This was a hard to find knife to add to my collection. Luckily Optics had it, but it must have been a back-order or in back of the warehouse. Knife came in great shape, but box had shown its age. A parts functioed and I rotate in my daily carry when out and about. The look is cool, intimidating and colorfully impressive. I have its regular sibling as well.

Honetly, I'm a little Dissapointed.
After having used this knife for 5 weeks now I have found the blade to be quite sharp and sturdy. Unfortunately the pocket clip broke when it snagged on something while I was getting out of my car during the first few weeks. There was a spare (very scratched up) pocket clip included with the knife which I have installed but it's orientation is flipped for carrying in the left pocket. While changing out the pocket clip I decided to make sure all the screws were still snug (as it recommends in the owners manual) and discovered the bottom-most screw on the backside of the handle was not secure. It was slightly shorter than the other screws and barely able to grab any threaded material. I have applied some threadlocker and it appears to be staying in place at least for now.
I love the look and feel of the knife and have been satisfied with the blade. I am saddened, however, that the pocket clip breaks so easily and more so that I got a sub-par quality knife with a screw that won't hold.
This is my first Hogue knife and I expected quality given the reputation and the price tag. Sadly, it has been a bitter first impression.

I order this knife on appearance. When it arrived the first thing i noticed was the weight, it is got a little heft to it and gives the a feeling that it will be able to take the abuse i will most definitely be putting it through
